Dr. Vengurlekar is a very smart doctor. He knows his medicine. Don't live in pain....must see him to take care of your issue. Nice clean office conveniently located off 101 and Scottsdale.

Dr Vengurlekar has been a Godsend! He is very knowledgeable and has a great deal of expertise. He is direct and concise which I prefer over coddling. I’ve found the BEST practitioners are objective, concise, and direct. I drive almost an hour each way to see him because I get results! That’s really all I care about is results. I appreciate that he is not dependent on prescriptions. Neuropathy is complex to treat, think about the fact that nerves run the entire length of the body, that’s a lot of pathways! I recommend him to many people, even people who are from out of state. These conditions don’t resolve over night, it takes time for the body to settle down! I’d say walk, run, or crawl ;) but do make an appointment at least to explore your options! There’s no reason to keep living in misery!

Rude, would only speak to my husband. Had issues with the steroids he injected, had to go to ER. Was a nightmare. Good luck to those who go to him.

Dr. Vengurlekar has been a God send. I have DDD and the pain was getting worse by the day. Dr. Vengurlekar took the time to understand what I was going through and performed all the tests necessary to determine the extent of my problem and began a treatment plan that has given me back my life. As a result of a severe bicycle accident in 2006 I found my quality of life deteriorating more with each passing year. In 2013, after enduring 50+ epidural injections and receiving just about every diagnosis and treatment known to man which yielded no relief, my husband, after much research, suggested I make one final stab at it and contacted Premier Pain Institute to schedule a consultation with Dr. Sham Vengurlekar. My greatest fear is the same one that many people have when the term â??pain managementâ?? is mentioned; a business that is strictly providing pain management making little effort to find a lasting solution. My initial consultation was somewhat surprising. Dr. Vengurlekar was very direct when he stated that his emphasis would be first to determine the correct diagnosis and would then formulate an action plan with the intent of correcting the underlying problem. This approach, and level of care, would constitute a process that required me to focus on incremental… improvement and not to have expectations of a â??quick fixâ??. Over the course of the past 2+ years Dr. Vengurlekar focused on a conservative approach to locate the source of my pain. Dr. V, as I now refer to him, is an excellent diagnostician, as well as a skilled surgeon that continues to stay abreast of new methods and treatments to insure the best outcome for his patients that reduces the â??educated guessâ?? theory. My relationship with Dr. Vengurlekar became one of trust and confidence knowing that he was personally involved with my care. His approach is personal and hands on including his commitment to constantly look for a long term solution. Be assured, lifelong drug therapy is not his preferred course of treatment. Over time he suggested several different approaches to my condition without success. Neither of us was willing to give in or give up. Together we agonized over my condition until just recently he suggested a course of treatment that was our eureka moment. My pain has been reduced from debilitating to a point that it no longer interferes with my daily life. I can finally move forward with confidence that it will no longer be a life altering issue.
