Dr. Sharon Somekh, MD

Dr. Somekh is a very thorough, calming pediatrician who helped me through the stressful transition of becoming a mother of 2. She always takes the time to answer all my questions and I appreciate having someone I can trust to take care of my kids

Dr. Sharon is a fantastic pediatrician! She was my peditrician while she was in Philadelphia, for my first child. As a new mom, I had alot of questions of course, she is incredibly patient and understanding and never rushed me through an appointment. Dr. Sharon has a very realistic, calming way about her, has her own three children, and many years experience. She will answer your questions to your satisfaction (with a quick response when you call after an appointment as well!) and knows her stuff. You will not feel like just another patient coming through the door, you will feel like a person, and I only wish she would have stayed in Philadelphia so I could have continued to use her for many years to come.

My son saw Dr. Sharon when she was with Center City Pediatrics in Philadelphia. I so miss the attention I got from her and the time she spent - not only with my son - but putting me at ease that I was doing things right. Even as a second-time mother, you have doubts, questions, fears - and Dr. Sharon always spent the time answering my questions, calming my nerves and helping explain things. I credit my continued breastfeeding to pediatricians like Dr. Sharon who have a passion for their patients as well as their parents. Her lactation expertise helped me surpass the rough spots.

Dr. Somekh is energetic, enthusiastic, compassionate and an overall amazing pediatrician. The minute you walk in she makes your children feel comfortable and trusting. WE recently moved to Long Island and are so lucky to have found such a caring Dr. in such a great practice!
