Dr. Sheldon Laurence Cohn, MD

I saw Dr. Cohn and he recommended surgery for a diagnosis that I do not even have. After my appointment with him to review results something didn't feel right and I did some of my own research that contradicted what he said so I scheduled a second opinion. Thankfully I did because not only did I not need surgery but the diagnosis I was given I don't even have. I am so grateful I listened to my gut and looked for a second opinion.

On the summer morning of 8-8-19 surgery was performed on my right shoulder rotator cuff and tendons. The amazing said that you at the age of 47 years old,q I needed to get this repaired via surgery. I have always had much trust and respect for this amazing man to know he was telling me to do good for my self. The amazing couldn't have been more right, as he always had been in my past injury to my knee due to an car accident. Dr cohn fixed my knees and they work great. I had a meniscus tare on the job and another time i fell at home and had three blood clots and he repaired that problem. Dr. Cohn is a great doctor. I give him and his staff 5 STARS! I recommend him.

I was on a Trikke and I twisted fast and I felt something pull inside my knee. I had been checked out by the emergency room with x-rays and they sent me home with ice. I went to Dr. Cohn and he felt that my knee and said it seemed strong then he said: “Well Brooks if you felt something pull than it most likely did we will get you a MRI.” The outcome was my ACL was gone. I was 39 and I wanted the Tim Tebow surgery and although it is a big recovery it is the best outcome. When I came out of surgery my leg felt better than it had in years. I thought I had sciatica in that leg for about 10 years. It felt like a screwdriver was drilling my heel by the end of the day. When I left surgery Dr. Cohen said I had something covering my knee cap and he removed it during surgery. I never told him that I would go through periods when my foot was cold and my leg hurt so much I couldn’t sleep or drive. He changed my life. I am ALIVE again my health improved beyond just my knee. I have had no… pain in that leg in 5 years!! He is a master craftsman and a tremendous surgeon. I can’t say enough about how much respect I have for this man. He is not a talker but he is listening to everything and he loves soccer!! – Brooks

Great doc, has a sincere desire to restore function to your body. Provides options for treatment, always with full explanation of how those options might play out. Super staff, professionals all the way around. Best bedside manner I've ever experienced.

Did not have the best experience. Bedside manner was not good in fact rather rude and uncaring. Spends very little time with patients Surgery was unsuccessful, Would not recommend.

Terrible bed side manner. His nurse is just as bad. He may be a decent surgeon ( I hope) but it takes more than that to be a great doctor. I don't think he really cares! I would never ever recommend this doc to a friend.
