Dr. Sofia Qadir, MD

This office does not return phone calls even in crisis. When you have called they’re “on call” service noone EVER calls back. I put in a call to the office manager thinking it might be a breakdown in something with the after hours service and she basically asked me if I wanted to make an appointment with the doctor and I said no I’m trying to find out if there is another doctor available within the Tri county practice and she said then go to somebody else and hung up the phone before I could finish what I was saying. I was not being rude or raising my voice. This is how this office treats people with anxiety and panic disorder. I thought maybe it was just this office because when you call the on call it list about 10 doctors. So the last time I had an appointment with the doctor she was on the phone for six minutes and that was including wait time. Never answers my question but I just assumed that was how things are as I’ve never been to a psychiatrist in the past.

I agree wholeheartedly with other 1 star reviews. I still have nightmares.

She is an extremely gifted psychiatrist helped my daughter immensely .

The doctor may or may not be a lovely person; I wouldn't know. Her staff NEVER answers the phone when you call; when I have managed to get a human being on the phone I have been lied to, interrupted, talked over, talked down to, and basically made to feel as though I'm the one being an inconvenience for daring to try to get help with my depression and anxiety. You cannot treat people with these issues like that! After dealing with her receptionist I spent half the day having panic attacks and dealing with severe depression flare-ups. I'm sorry I did not get a chance to meet the doctor herself, many people seem to like her, but for my own mental and emotional health I will not subject myself to her receptionist any longer. She has lost a patient due to her staff.

I am really unhappy, when I went to see her, instead of paying attention to the patient she kept texting and checking her phone. You can call all day long and leave messages they never call back, that's if you are lucky to leave a message. Worse Dr. and Staff ever...

I have never actually seen dr Quadir, but i have seen her nurse practitioner. The actual practitioner was great, but the office staff is completely ridiculous. They are rude, they never answer the telephone, and i had to drive all the way across town to pick up a prescription only to find the office locked after i was told there would be staff present to assist me. If this was a regular business, and not a doctor who i actually need to see, I would NEVER return based on the disrespect and rude attitude from the office help. They act as if no one has a job except for them.

She cares less what happen to you all she cares about is money.......She is heartless. should not be in the medical or psychiatrist fields.

I have been going here for over 6 months and never even saw this doctor. All nurse practitioners giving out meds, not even close to what I have been getting for 15 years. AND the wait is 2 to 4 hours after you arrive. DO NOT go there unless it is an emergency!!!!!!!!!

Would not recommend seeing this dr. She only works 1 or 2 days per week so appointments are months away... not good when you are a mental health patient and need help.

Dr Sophia Quadir has been the best psychiatrist I've ever gone to. I don't know why people are bashing on her office. It's a shame that mostly people with bad experiences are the ones writing reviews whereas most people that have good experiences don't think to leave good feedback for the doc. Dr sophia Qadir is very gentle and patient. She listens intently to what you have to say and she genuinely cares about your wellbeing and wants to see you get better! She has been practicing for many years and has great judgement on what is best for you the patient. I have been going to her every month for almost a year now to her office on east miller street and even though her practice is very busy I've only had one time where I had to wait longer then 10 minutes to see her. I believe she tries her best to be punctual. I would definitely recommend going to her over any other psychiatrist. Since going to her I am now doing much better and am even off all my medication. She's a life… saver!
