Dr. Stanley Keith Gilbert, MD

Dr. Stanley K. Gilbert, Jr, MD. is one of the finest people I have ever met. He is an excellent surgeon who takes great pride in his work. All of the people on his staff, including the physical therapy department, are extremely kind and helpful to their patients. I am very pleased with the treatment I have received from Cape Fear Orthopedics in Fayetteville, North Carolina.

he would not fix me because i didnt have insurance and he downplayed my injuries now five years later my mt fractured bone never healed and now i have severe arthritis

I sent an employee to Dr Gilbert for a workers comp injury. He operated and was ready to release the employee back fro light duty. However when the employee mentioned that he was not getting his full pay for a light duty job, Dr Gilbert sent me word that if I did not give the employee his full pay he would hold him out for another month. He did just that. He believes he has the right to tell employers what they should pay an employee on Light Duty. If you, like me, try to work with your insurance company and employees to keep premiums down don't let your employees near this guy.

They are very nice until after surgery is done. Then they don't care about your condition or how much pain you are in.
