Dr. Stelios Viennas, MD

I have been going to Dr. Vienna’s since Nov 2015, I live in Florida and fly to NY for my appointments and my infusions. I was unable to get a diagnosis after seeing 3 Rheumatologist’s in Florida and also had an evaluation at the Mayo Clinic In Jacksonville, Fl. I moved to Fl from NY, so I looked into seeing a Dr in NYC to try and get a diagnosis. I found Dr. Vienna’s and scheduled an appointment. He listened to me and ran tests to get to the bottom of what was going on. I absolutely love him and his entire staff! Angela is amazing! I’m so thankful to be in such good hands.

Dr. Viennas is one of the best doctors that I have ever seen. He diagnosed a condition that baffled other doctors for years because of the atypical symptoms the condition posed. He is blunt and puts things right on the line, which I happen to appreciate because I feel he is trustworthy, not people pleasing. I can't thank him enough, ever... he gave me peace of mind about something that scared me.

Not much to say, very poor exam, did not do much. Sent a script to my pharmacy that made me sick, when I called the office to speak to him about the drug problem he never called back. Tried again the next day and same thing. He is out! Not sure who writes the reviews here but they must be his staff. Not a good doctor, look elsewhere. Good luck.

He is a great doctor, keeps on top of all your tests and his staff is wonderful especially Branca (his nurse). I recommend him to everyone I know. He takes his time with you and wants to know everything you are doing and how it is impacting your health. Great doctor.

I have nothing but great things to say about Dr. Viennas and the staff. I have been a long time patient and they have always treated me with the care that a patient should be given. The staff is wonderful. Anytime I have a problem or need assistance they are more then willing to assist me with my needs. Dr. Viennas is an excellent physcian. He has been there with me in caring for my needs and the problems that I am having and has been able to diagnose and maintain control of my problems. The location they are at is wonderful. If you are looking for a physcian in Astoria, Dr. Viennas(Hygeia Medical Grp.) comes highly recommended.

I have been a patient for some years now and had to let everyone know what a great doctor Dr. Viennas is. His staff is professional, caring, and always goes above and beyond for their patients. Unfotunately sometimes there are patients that walk into the office and behave poorly to the staff...something I have witnessed on more than one occassion. Yes you may have to wait to see the doctor but it is well worth it, when it is your turn you are never rushed and all your questions are answered. Wish more offices were like this.

I'm having terrible experiences with this rheumatologist and well as with his support staff. They are not willing to help the patients, or do their jobs. They just want to get by and do as little as possible. Support staff, including Dr. Viennas, get very upset, scream and kick boxes whenever they are asked to fill out any type of forms, such as insurances or referrals. Support staff make it very difficult for patients to be helped from outside source when the needed information and documentation falls on their lap. WORSE UNPROFESSIONAL DOCTOR, WORSE UNPROFESSIONAL STAFF, WORSE EXPERIENCE!!

I was waiting exactly 85 minutes (with$200 cash to pay, for having an honor to see the doctor with my osteoarthritis, and excruciating pain) before I left. But first I had to explain FRONT of OTHER PATIENCE what is my problem, to the administrator lady. Than I had to leave, so I've got another appointment for 22 days lather. And I left after 1,5 hour without see the doctor.
