Dr. Shomer has been my life saver literally. He orders tests that needed to be done within months to assure that I may need surgery sooner than later. He is very friendly and easy to talk to. I will always recommend him to anyone that needs a cardiologist.

One of main reasons we retired here is that our research found that Washington is among the A rated cities in Iowa. Top rated healthcare is among those ratings. It was important as to us to have access to the best. Dr. Shomer listens to our medical issues and provides superior care!

Always honest in evaluations. Direct and to the point. Very professional but still displays empathy and genuine interest in patient's health. WCHC is very fortunate to have this cardiologist on staff.
