Great physician, came out to see my grandson late night after an injury to the eye. She saved his eye he is able to see without any complications. I would recommend this doctor to everyone!.

I strongly do NOT recommend this ophthalmologist. I will not buy into that everyone that walks into her office has glaucoma. She is very pushy about selling you on getting her in-office laser surgery. Selling you that the $2000 cost is fully covered by Tricare w/o doing a full examination. I just felt too uneasy w/ how anxious she was to get it scheduled. You only have 1 set of eyes. Marioneaux doesnt do eye exams her unprofessional unlicensed uneducated secretarial staff (ie. Jill) does them. They over prescribe your lens power. And when you question the magnification on the prescription, Marioneaux says I'm not an optometrist. Well then why do you ask me if I want an eye exam. They dont send out bills, just sends you to collections. Jill, the office secretary frustratingly told me that they dont send out physical bills that the EOB that you get from your insurance serves as their bill of how much you owe them. Go somewhere else! Even her collegue, Dr. Moayery wouldnt refer nor… recommend her to any of his close friends or family. Also she records your convos w/ her little tape recorder that she keeps in her pocket. VA is a one consent party to audio record your convos. You have to question why she has to do that and its not bc she's old and can't remember.

All through my time with her, she did not communicate what she was doing. Never explained the surgery to me and was very distant. After 2 1/2 years I get a call from a collection agency for her bill. I never at anytime received a bill or any communication from her. I had assumed my insurance had covered all her charges since I never got a bill. I paid in full today when I got the call, which I would have done if she had ever billed me. Shoddy way to treat patients
