had to give a 3 for promptness since i waited 30 minutes in exam room for him. it was a 3 pm appt which is a bad time of the day - easy to get backed up. bedside manner - very nice and easy to talk to, but i get the feeling he's one of those that is more of a doctor and less of an educator. the accurate diagnosis is WAY more important than the bedside manner. HIGHLY recommend overall

Could not have had a better experience. Dr Gunther masterfully repaired years ago at UCSF my completely torn Rotator Cuff. I was only 38 at the time. I'm 51 now, and in all these years have NEVER had a problem with the repair. What I liked too was his humor. Prior to surgery, he boosted my confidence by drawing a little smiley face on the correct arm to be operated on. Kudos Dr. Gunther!

I had a worker's comp injury...was treated well none the less. A wonderful surgeon that does right by his clients. :) Would definitely recommend him to friends and family.
