BEWARE! During almost one hour at the doctor, three different people came and saw me for 2-3 minutes each. Rest was all wait time. However, they promptly billed my insurance company for 45+ minutes visit. The insurance company said that the charges for up to 10 minutes visit with the doctor would be $99 whereas for 45+ minute visit, $429! Furthermore, the doctor never called back or discussed CT Scan results with me. He was supposed to call the following day but 5 days later, no feedback. On the 6th day, they tried reaching me because I talked to the hospital's customer service. The hospital investigated and said that this visit was coded properly and the charges were appropriate. My confidence in this doctor and Virginia Mason - especially their ENT providers - is very low due to this incident.
