Ive known Dr Steve for almost 25 years now and never once would he not accommodate me, and not just accommodate, but always with a Big Smile and warmth that tells me Im in good hands. Hes seen me for everything from the common cold to broken bones and back injuries, and when its something hes concerned about, hes on the phone to a specialist, setting up an imitate appointment to make sure Ill be in the best health possible. I work with my hands and after a time in emergency and was treated for a fracture, I took the X-Rays to him for a second opinion, well he was sure it was fine, but again wanted me to be seen by a hand specialist at UCLA, so I went from his office right to the office of one of the best hand guys in town! There was a case where even on a Sunday hed made himself available, granted he has a life outside of work, but I really know how important his patients are to him.His staff are equally friendly and organized, not to mention the dcor is warm and inviting, and if ya happen to be a music fan youll be treated to a fine collection of memorabilia, hes also a great player, I know Ive seen him perform, and can sing as well, so hes human as well and is open to different types of treatments and encourages his patients to participate in theyre own recovery and well being. And for the ladies, hes easy on the eyes as well!

Years ago, our family was thrilled to find a local doctor who wasn`t part of a huge practice. Everything about his office is personal. I especially like the fact that some of who HE is is on display in his office! Dr. Patt himself comes to the waiting room to usher you into his office for a comfortable chat often in the company of one of his wonderful companion dogs who venture next door to the hospital to visit patients! about what`s going on with you. Then into the exam room, where he has an array of equipment to perform simple tests himself instead of sending you elsewhere. So some results are immediate. That means that one`s mind can be put at ease about some concerns and, often, the problem can be treated immediately. When necessary, Dr. Patt treats a problem aggressively. I recently had a lingering illness which was treated, to no avail, while I was on vacation. Dr. Patt cleared it up in one visit! On another occasion, when my husband was mauled by a dog, Dr. Patt stitched him up right in the office! We have always found his medical treatment appropriate and always successful! I think one of the things I love is that his office tries so hard to fit you in if you`re sick. Not too long ago, I was thanking him for squeezing me in and he said, \"\"Well, I wouldn`t be a very good doctor if you couldn`t get in to see me when you`re sick!\"\" The atmosphere in his office is casual, but he is very professional and his care is top-notch!

Let me ask you a question...how often do you see a doctor who really listens to you, takes his time with the exam, at the end of the thorough encounter, looks you in the eyes and asks, "Do you have any other questions? Is there anything we didn't cover?" and last but not least...calls the next day to go over lab results? Dr Stephen Patt did all of these, and it's routine there..the office staff is amazing, very friendly and efficient. It was a truly great experience for me.

After our insurance changed attempting to find another Dr. was difficult enough. I interviewed multiple offices and chose Dr. Patt`s office. I had explained to their staff we were desiring a FAMILY Dr. for our 4 children as well as my husband and myself. At the time of enrollment that was fine with their office. Once we had to have an appointment due to an illness their number 3105821114 was not answered by even an on call service. After making a follow up appt. after our ER visit we were met with an indignant staff and arrogant Dr. Patt. He brought his animals to work with him and scoffed at the fact that one of our occupations involved breeding, showing and selling animals.

Going to see Dr. Stephen Patt at his private office in Santa Monica was the best experience I`ve had with another human being since I moved to Los Angeles from New York--he`s kind, funny, took his time explaining the exam, and was extremely perceptive.
