I am so happy I found a new primary care provider. I was with this practice for too long.
He is a great professional service with courteous staff...
I am very satisfied with all staff affiliated with Dr. Sisselman and I am very satisfied with him as my doctor.
Very nice office and staff. Very clean. I saw Amy the PA the last appointment and liked her very much.
All Doctors are terrific particularly the P.A.s Amy and Shannon
The staff here is wonderful. I have had great experience getting referrals quickly and I'm always treated well whether over the phone or in person. The Medical assistants are very knowledgeable and can almost always guess what tests the doctors may order and have them done before the doctirs come in so you can be seen much faster. I usually see the Physicians assistant Amy, she is wonderful. She is very polite and has always helped with any health issue I've had. She has excellent bedside manor and seems to truly care about her patients. I have seen Dr. Stephen Sisselman as well and although slightly lacking in bedside manor he is very knowledgeable and has always given proper diagnosis. Overall an excellent place for any healthcare issue.
Love coming to office..always so friendly....Amy Roberts is GREAT! :)
I began going to Dr. Sisselman about 10 years ago. He provided me with an accurate diagnosis which led to me having a quadruple bypass. If not for him, I would not be here. He has assisted in keeping my diabetes in check through diet and excessive rather than a handful of pills. He is easy to get in touch with and the staff is always great. As technology moves forward, he is on the cutting edge as far as keeping patients informed and updated. If you're interested in being an active partner in your healthcare, I would recommend him highly.
My husband and I have been going to Sisselman Medical for many years and have no problems at all. They are attentive and thorough.
The waiting room does not have a warm feeling to it. seems to be over lit with florescent lighting. Overall the doctor is very nice and seems to genuinely care about you.
The wait was horrible and Dr. Sisselman barely made eye contact. She didn't seem to care in the least, asking only general questions and giving memorized recitals. I know she has a busy practice, but make it seem as if you recognize me as an individual and want to help me get healthier.
Easy to get an appointment with a PA. They have Saturday hours which is nice. New office is clean. The PAs aren't thorough. Takes a week to get blood work results. Office staff air their dirty laundry and are unprofessional.
Amy Roberts (physician's assistant) is great - professional, caring, knowledgeable . Staff is friendly and courteous. Long wait on phone. Modern office.
Highly recommend The Sisselman practice . There practice provides many in house service which makes it convenient to stay in one office. Also they have PA's in the practice who offer flexibility to your needs.
I am very grateful for the care I receive at Sisselman Medical Group.
I had been given the wrong medication by target so I called Dr Sisselman's emergency line for guidance. The woman was so nice and said Dr Jill was on call so she would call me back. I've never met her, all my appointments have been with Dr Steve. But he called me back anyway which I thought was so great and it made me feel better. His bedside manner is beyond awesome, he's down to Earth and he's funny too. Glad he's my doc.
Not to pleased that my diagnosis and that of one of the receptionists was correct and even after numerous questions to the PA, I was told I did not have what I thought, meanwhile I did
Both of Dr Sisselmans offices are amazing. Great people working there, Dr's and PA do an amazing job of caring for their patients.
Not what they use to be, sadly :( I valued the time the doctor spent with you but now it seems the docs are in a rush and overconfident, putting it mildly...aren't as caring as they use to SEEM :(
Dr. Sissleman, his Physican Assistants and his staff are highly professional and 1st rate. They are top class health care professionals, whose first concern is the patient and it shows.
Been going to Dr. Stephen Sissleman for about 10 years now. If/when something pops up where I'm not feeling well, the staff makes time for me to come in and Dr. spends appropriate amount of time answering questions. Very thorough.
Usually I see Dr Jill Sisselman but this time I saw Dr. Stephen Sisselman as I had a terrible cough. In the past the wait time has been long but I would say took about an hour from start to finish including filling out paperwork, examination and checking out
Dr. Sisselman - can't say enough good things about him. His office staff are caring and nice, you never wait too long. If you have an emergency, he will see you immediately. He responds to emails quickly, spends time actually listening to you and he has called my house to check on me after I was in the hospital.
My wife and I have been a patient of Dr. Sisselman since he was in Wantagh on Jersusalem Ave. He is excellent doctor and his staff of healthcare professional are top notch.
While there are a few good people working under Doctor Sisselman, such as Nurse Debbie, the there is a generally low quality of care at this office. Dr. Sisselman is seemingly good for older patients who need routine check ups - but go in there for most other reasons and he'll rush you out as soon as you got in. From the moment he walks into the room, you can tell he has other things on his mind aside from his patient. Test his patience in the slightest and he will respond with an arrogant and seemingly condescending attitude. While I've been generally healthy and haven't had to see his much in the last couple years, the handful of times I have seen him have been unpleasant as he never dropped this attitude. After my last experience with him, I will not be returning as he has made inappropriate assumptions regarding my health. I've dealt with impatient doctors, but I've never dealt with one as rude as Dr. Sisselman.
What's great about Dr. Sisselmans office is the Dr.'s they haven't joined the hospital groups and you actually feel like they care and take the appropriate time when you are n their office.
From making the initial appointment to receiving test results, every moment made me feel important to each member of the staff. They all care! *****Wonderful experience;) I have found my primary Doctor! The search is over... The Doctor as well as the staff made my visit pleasant and easy.
