Dr. Steven Chao-Huan Chang, MD

I have had 7 surgeries , 3 complete knees, 2 complete hips . This back operation by dr. Chang was the very best results and more than I expected. I am 75 yrs old and active - every day I am playing golf tournaments, riding a bike or in the gym. Before the operation of 6 hrs and a 6 inch cut to the spine I could barely walk and was on a cane. 4 hrs after the operation I had one percacite and that nite one tylonal and have had nothing else since - minamaly pain experienced and less than other operation that I have had by far. On a walker for 4 days and then a cane for 4 days and then was walking pain free - 5 weeks after I am doing all the activities that I used to do but pain free. Only wish that I had this operation sooner . Dr Chang gets a 10 out 10 from me and I am not a paid spokes person. Would and have recommended to friends and family - the best! Dr. Chang has done numerous steroid injections for me over the years, for herniated disks and spine degeneration. I have barely felt the injections, and for the most recent one, I didn’t feel it at all. He explains his menthod consistently, but he doesn’t need to. I totally trust him! He has golden hands!

At first it was a long wait in a busy waiting room. But once I saw the doctor, he examined me and explained the problem I have on the MRI. He did not push surgery like some of the other doctors I had before. I tried some epidural but it didn't last very long. I ended up having surgery by Dr. Chang and it was the best thing I ever did. I am forever grateful to Dr. Chang.
