I have been seeing Dr. Pollens for almost 20 years now. He is an excellent doc, recently won Best Family Practice doc in the state from the Michigan Medical Society. Wait time in waiting room is always 10 min or less, sometimes up to 20 minutes in the exam room but once you get face time with him you never feel like he is rushing to get to the next appointment. He will spend the time needed based on your individual needs, issues, etc.
Dr. Pollens is flexible with treatment options. He also provided me with good perspective related to my pain level and recovery time, giving me more pain relief when needed while working with me to weigh the use of stronger pain killers against the risks associated with their use.
Dr. Pollens spent a great deal of time making sure that all of my questions were answered. He seems genuinely caring and was thorough and professional.
