Our baby boy "screened" positive for SCID (a severe immunological problem) and our pediatrician's office in Scarsdale scheduled an appointment with Dr. Siegel the following afternoon. SCID is severe enough that, before the receptionist finished photocopying our insurance card, a nurse came in and swept us into a private room to avoid the possibility of coming in contact with sick people. When we met with Dr. Siegel about 15 minutes later (after the nurse did her nurse stuff) she was simply terrific both in terms of looking after our baby and easing our minds which were considerably troubled. We've only had the one contact with her, one day ago, so I don't have a lot to base my review on at this point. But, there is a good chance that we'd switch to her as our pediatrician, if only because the whole operation seems to run as it should, at least in a potential "pediatric emergency" case.
