I would like to thank Dr. Graetzer for taking the time to explain my diagnosis and treatment plan in a way that I could easily understand. He really seemed to care about my health and that helps alot. Thanks again
Dr. Gratzer has treated my son for several years. He is also available. He has stabilized my son's depression and anxiety and underlying ADD
Dr. Gratzer is phenomenal. He understands my brain better than any doctor I have had ever in the past. I left the appointment feeling educated and had a plan of attack for the near, and distant future. I really liked how confident he was with our action plan as well. No hesitation and truly great experience. Thank You!
Dr Gratzer has helped me with my Bi-Polar ll stabilization
It seems clear enough that this doctor has written the latest reviews himself, or had friends and associates post on his behalf. A person who posted on another physician review site has observed the same. How does this doctor go from being a doctor about whom patients are so critical, to a doctor who can do no wrong and receives five stars each and every time. Dr. Gratzer recently moved his practice to Psych Recovery. I did not know where he moved his practice to and saw a new provider at another clinic outside of Allkina. She did not want to keep me on my complicated med regime and I decompensated. I decompensated. She refereed me back Dr. Gratrzer who restored my meds and I am now doing very well. Dr. Gratzer did change my meds slightly. I am very grateful for Dr. Gratzer's care and his expertise of psychiatric medications. I would recommend him without reservation. I very much like the new clinic and staff
Good experience. Adjusted my my meds and stabilized me. Follow ups are short but helpful.
Dr. Gratzer is a kind and empathic physician. He has helped me through a difficult time. Very knowledgeable. A pillar of strength
I have a good experience with Dr. Gratzer. Visits are short. He addresses my needs. Very knowledgeable about meds. Keeps me stable. Always pleasant.
I have a very positive experience with Dr. Gratzer. I have a very good relationship with him, he is kind, caring, and very knowledgable.
I would recommend Dr. Gratzer highly. He is good psychiatrist. He has helped over the past 12 years with my depression and anxiety. He has got me on the right meds. His appoints are brief and to the point. When I needed therapy, he referred me to a therapist.
Dr. Gratzer is a very good psychiatrist. His appointments are short and focused on medication management. I sometimes felt rushed. However he always listened. The medications he put me helped a lot and I am very grateful
excellent psychiatrist, heard he recently moved his outpatient practice to Psych Recovery, very good with meds and stabilized me quickly, appointments were brief but very effective, very good experience
Dr. Gratzer is an excellent psychiatrist. He is caring and compassionate. I have heard he has moved his outpatient practice to Psych Recovery
I have been a patient for 15 years being treated for chronic depression and adult ADHD. Some may find his style a little unorthodox, but in my opinion it is extremely effective and efficient. He has helped me keep healthy and happy and I am grateful. I have recommended him to many friends and they report equal satisfaction.
Dr. Gratzer's staff members were courteous. Gratzer, however, was very late for my appointment and made several outgoing phone calls while I was meeting with him. So much for giving me undivided attention. Dr. Gratzer seemed to have trouble following what I had to say. He seemed biased toward me. He lied in the medical record. Since then, I have read what other patients have written. Do some online reading and check the Ramsey County Sheriff's office for information about Gratzer that might be another gauge of his character. Integrity is important. Select a psychiatrist who is less interested in meeting his own needs. Too many red flags.
I was concerned about the number of meds I was on especially one that I was experiencing addiction. I was concern for my brain. He told me at my age I probably had max 20 years and it would hurt my brain in that time. Also I was taking way to much seratonea and also increased my blood pressure. He never in all the years took my BP.
he came rushing in. kept questioning about how I felt. "you don't really feel that way, do you"? Didn't have proper info. Not organized at all. Seemed very distracted. I would never go to him
This Dr is the most pompous, belligerent, unempathetic person you will ever encounter. STAY AWAY. I question his license.
He made phone contact with pharmacy for another patient, during my examination and while I was in the room.
It's easy to get an appointment with him and he has evening hours, which is great. The appointments are not lengthy after the initial appointment. I feel he accurately diagnosed me and put me on a great plan, which he made sure I understood.
the worst doctor experience i have incountered. he was 45 minutes late and then rush our hour long appointmet into a 15 minute judge a book by its cover meeting. never again
Very good and capable psychiatirst.
Dr. Gratzer is a great psychiatrist if you are on medications that are typically prescribed form this field of medicine. If your a patient that requires schedule medications and you take them a prescribed Dr. Gratzer is great to work with. Appointments are approximately 5-15min in length very straight forward if medications need to be changed or dosages he does this very well. He is very caring and understanding. The type of patient that will be best served is one who has a fair amount of knowledge about the types of meds that benefit them the most. Follow up appointments are simple to the point. If your need to see a psychiatrist it is most likely for medications and Dr, Gratzer is very helpful in this respect.
This doctor doesn't have the best bedside manner; he takes three minutes to decide how he wants to adjust your meds and throws you out before you can get a word in edgewise. You have to pay a lot and wait another month just for the same thing over and over while you suffer with your illness. Not very interested in listening to you, and not very knowledgeable about medications (side effects, efficiency, intended use, dosage, etc) that anyone can read about online. Put me on meds that either did nothing or made me too tired to function. He did take some of my suggestions but I really had to fight for them. I cry whenever I leave his office because I feel like he doesn't care and I'm not getting the help I need.
