Thoroughly competent and kind. Diagnoses quickly, follows up, even has that rare doctor trait---a sense of humor.

Having been fortunate enough to be a patient of Dr. Kun for 3 decades, I can give a different opinion than the previous person who complained about being made to wait for his appointment. Some physicians stick closely to the schedule for the day. If the patient was allotted 10-15 minutes, the appointment ends within that amount of time. Other physicians such as Dr. Kun, spend the amount of time that is required by the patient and his or her situation. Sometimes that means that the schedule runs behind. Personally, I'll happily wait in the waiting room if he is running late because the patient seen before me has an emergency, is receiving a difficult or frightening diagnosis, or simply needs to leave understanding a new treatment plan. Dr. Kun has never made me, or anyone I have referred to him, feel rushed, or unheard. All questions and concerns are addressed before leaving the office. Between appointments, one is able to easily reach his RN or leave voice mail messages for him. … Additionally, he and his partners have experience that can't be matched by most GI professionals in Los Angeles. So you decide...do you want to run on time or do you want to be offered the amount of time that your situation requires?

This doctor made me wait 35min + the 5 I was at my appointment 5min earlier. So after 40min I complained because I have my own work to do and they said well he needs another 15 min which will stretch to at least 20min I cancel appointment in their face ; got my money refunded and only had to pay a lot for parking as they don't stamp over there. Definitively include parking in the price of this specialist because you'll wait. I think that us (customers) need to smash people like that that don't respect our time obviously he overbook himself to get full every days agains't the benefits of his clients, no respects towards clients no respect toward the doctor that's why I write this - One hour wait is inadmissible and doctors needs to stop this stupid trend that doctors are always late, there's late and obnoxiously late !!! Not just he lost a first time client but probably more reading this comments...
