Dr Melancon has the bed side mannors of a saint he is very sensitive and covers every complaint thats why I have been his patient over 20 years. I am treated like royalty from check in until I exit . My questions never go not answered . By far the best!!!

Dr. Melancon and his assistant Nurse Donna, I just can't say enough good things about them. The care and attention is as if you are his only patient. Dr. Melancon's bedside manner is heartwarming and sincere. His knowledge of medicine and his approach in care should be that of every doctor.

I was a loyal patient of Dr. Melancon for many years. I used to think that he was a wonderful doctor - despite the extremely long wait times for scheduled appointments & the rudeness of his staff. However, my opinion changed after I needed to speak with him personally regarding a very important healthcare matter. I simply could not get a timely return call from Dr. Melancon. I tried to speak with his office staff regarding the situation but all I received was incredible rudeness & absolute disrespect. I was terribly shocked by ALL of their very bad behavior especially since I had always been a polite & loyal patient. All I got in return was a virtual brick wall & then his staff even went so far as to basically threaten me by stating that Dr. Melancon told them to tell me that I would no longer be a patient if I called back again !!! It was at that point that I decided to take my business elsewhere. It's a real shame because I feel that Dr. Melancon was actually a pretty good medical… practitioner but just not a very nice or caring human being. He & his staff could care less how long you wait, how long you've been his patient, if you have an emergency, etc. It was bad enough waiting an hour (or sometimes even two !!!) just to get maybe a total of 5 minutes of his time but heaven help you if you ever need or want to speak with him directly because it just won't happen. If I could give a negative star rating, I would !!!

I've been a patient of Dr. Melacon for only 9 months, but I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of an Internal Medicine Physician. He is very thorough, knowledegeable & has his patient's best interest.
