I have absolutely no issues with Dr. Montagne himself. He is an excellent listener and care provider. On the other hand, the lady who was to schedule my procedure (short brown hair) could barely pronounce it correctly and when I asked if she had any literature on it, she snapped at me and said "no, we do not keep anything like that on file and didn't Dr. Montagne explain it to me any way?". I advised that in fact he had, but would like something to share with my husband - explaining medical details can be challenging. After she simply stared back at me a few seconds, I told her I would just Google it. She thought that would be a good idea, but never offered to help me do so. Her ONLY concern was scheduling the procedure and I personally believe making money for the office. A little compassion for the patient would have been nice

Dr. Montagne is a very nice person, once you actually get to see him. But trying to get an appointment requires a 2 month wait, and you'll have to wait for an hour or more on the day of your appointment before you actually see him. Even if you've been a patient for almost 10 years, he won't remember anything about your treatment. I don't think he actually cares about his patients at all, just trying to get them in and out.

Dr. Montagne and his staff are excellent, respectful and helpful. I highly recommend this office.

the new girl, who is the receptionist, is quite professional and courteous and helpful and happy and intelligent and caring.....would be nice if the blonde headed nurse were that way........dr can be quite caring and have wondeful bedside manner, i guess, when he is not stressed........he is a good man.....good tests and diagnosis

Dr. Montagne spent two hrs with my husband on his first visit for cirrhosis. Since then he has called and talked to him on the phone several times--anytime my husband has wanted to talk about his condition. He is hands down the one of the most caring doctors we have ever experienced. If you ask him, he will give you the information on your medical situation "straught up." We love him!

he is unexpected, concerning his personailty-- between his office visits, hospital visits, procedure visits......is is great that he gives a hug to his older patients, who are frightened.......keep it up at your office, and at the the hospital and at procedures----please, have enough anesthetic to keep patient asleep ........and stop procedure, when patient wakes up and calls out that it hurts!!!!!!!......then, resume procedure, when anesthetic takes effect again, please........give a relaxing med when patient arrives for procedure, please........please, not have the patient wait 2 hours and 15 minutes for your arrival at procedure or have nurse have to phone you to find out when you will arrive------please, phone her!!!!remove all pre cancerous polyps at the procedure, so reschedule is not required, please...........

wish the receptionists, office managers, in house hospital doctors, nurses, would be much more caring, friendly, happy, pleasant.......this includes those at village hospital as well as pelham office staff(1st floor and doctor's office)
