Dr. Titus Kofi Venyah, MD

Saw this guy for basic rx refills as a stand in while my doctor is out. He was rude questioned my medical history grom years ago. Even had to show him my scar to prove i had spine surgery. He stopped meds i have been taking under the care of my doc for years. He said times have changed and so has medicine. He ordered all kinds of scans and additionally blood work. He isnt my doctor if he thinks she is mistreating me should he not note that to her? Told me i had to go see other specialists. Oh my gosh what a joke. Does he not even have professional courtesy toward the physician he is only coveting for? To change someones entire medical regiment up and be so rude is horrible. I left in tears. Filed a complaint and the practice manager didn't seem surprised she said she would ensure another doc refill my rx. He is new at methodist. He even told me neuropathy could be managed by diet rather than rx. Really? Im humiliated and disgusted with this smart a man. Please think twice before… seeing this guy. Geriatrics are his specialty. Bless those souls under his care.

Run from this witchdoctor, seriously. He is inept and demented. Shouldn't be in practice and will do anything to generate income for his practice. I took my wife to him for emergency assistance with a migraine - she's suffered from them her whole life. The receptionist assured me they could help, and they were much closer than an ER. My wife was barely able to move when we got there and this con artist had NO idea how to deal with a migraine. I was shocked by the huge disconnect between his receptionist's assurances and his apparent lack of knowledge. If he truly were the fine Christian all the scriptural quotes on his walls might lead one to believe, he should have told us he could do nothing and sent us on our way. But greedy titus made matters worse by subjecting my wife to an obscene level of pain when he SHINED A BRIGHT LIGHT in her eyes. I told him not to, that it was the equivalent of stabbing her eyes with red hot needles, but he had already copped an "I'm the doctor" attitude.… After I FINALLY convinced him she was truly suffering from a migraine, he HAD NO IDEA HOW TO TREAT HER! NONE! He actually admitted he had NO EXPERIENCE treating migraines. Nausea is part of a migraine and I asked them for something in case she got sick while waiting for this demon to read up on migraines in his PDR. His receptionist brought her a used trash bag, still had trash in the bottom, and just shoved it at me like WE were the intrusion. He didn't even know what the latest medications were for treatment. Were we not good Christian folk, I would have sued him till he bled. Turn away from the evil front this derelict puts on for patients. All the scripture on the walls in his office are just words he hopes will deceive you into feeling comfortable, while he ascertains the best method for extracting money from you. RUN from this guy. He is not an MD, but indicative of the shortage of actual MD's these days. Titus Venyah is DANGEROUS! Stay away!

I had been seeing Dr. Venyah for about 6 months. He can be hard to communicate with. If I ever asked him a question he responds rudely like "I already told you to do this". I was never allowed to ask any health questions as he would not able to communicate responses to me. When I have tried to talk to him he is on his cell phone!! I came from my old doctor who passed away. I gave him a list of my medications and it took forever to get them filled (I had to ask 3 or 4 times) and he would not give me the dosage of Tramadol that had been taking for 5 years!! He wanted to refer me to a Pain Specialist which I did not understand why. The final straw was when he told me that my kidney function was low on my blood test results; however he never went into detail. I had to research about it online. When I researched it I learned that I had Stage 3 Chronic Kidney Disease. He never referred me to a Nephrologist who specializes in Kidney Disease so I found a doctor on my own. He also… noted that diagnoses on my records but I didn't see it until I printed out the whole thing from his online portal for the new specialist. The specialist told me that it was OK to take the pain medication that I was previously taking. Bottom line is that they are rude and will not communicate with you except through a portal!! They are supposed to be a "Christian" clinic? They are not Christian's. You don't drop a patient because that person wants a second opinion. I was going to drop him anyway and search for a new PCP. This was my experience.

Dr. Venyah is a very good doctor. He is the first doctor that has explained to me my high cholesterol and blood pressure. He is first doctor to explain that I should check pressures daily and I should follow up a few times year to see if anything has changed. He is first doctor to help me understand diet and explain I may not have to be on medications all my life!!!! I would highly recommend and good staff.

First of all not only did he waste an hour of my time he was very very rude and seemed unfamiliar with multiple medications. He is an idiot in my book. If he were the last doctor on earth and I was dying. Lets just say I wouldn't even bother going to him. He will try to charge you for a physical!!!! DO NOT LET HIM! PLEASE SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY PEOPLE. Worst doctor ever. All the good I can say is that his staff is very nice. The two of them that were there.

He became a Doctor a little late in life. He doesn't read patient histories and gives sporadic med refills. He doesn't follow through promptly with anything. He also doesn't follow through with previous continuing care assessments from previous Doctors. Doesn't seem knowledgeable and has gone through several moves and practices since graduating in 2000.

Dr. Venyah spent more time with me than any other doctor. He is down to earth and discusses with you not at you.
