I believe Dr. Darr saved my life. I was suffering some very serious side effects from a punctured lung after heart ablasion surgery. When I felt I may be dying, Dr. Darr came to my rescue. He has a wonderful calming voice and demeanor, and I knew I was in good hands the moment he talked to me. I want to thank him for his kind words and assurance that I was going to be okay after he inserted a chest tube. I know my "Guardian Angel" sent him to me!

My mom died last week because of complications from her botched open heart performed at Yale New Haven by Dr. Darr. After a mitral replacement, there were three leaks which cause irreversible damage. THANK YOU

Dr. Darr was very thorough in explaining my aortic valve problem. I felt well taken care of.

Eight weeks ago the amazing Dr. Darr performed what ended up being a valve replacement on me. I now feel better than I had in 10 years. If that wasn't enough my husband 1 week ago was in need of a triple bypass and Dr Darr had him in surgery in 2 days. He found other problems he was having and made sure the right doctors treated him too. He is now home and doing great. We can't be more grateful to him...our hero. Thank you.

I had very difficult heart surgery, and Dr. Darr did a great job. I had no choice in my selection of a surgeon, but I am so lucky that Dr. Darr was assigned to me. I might not have survived otherwise.

2002 had a Triple Bi-Pass which I had pain with and slow recovery. 2011 had an aortic value replacement with Dr Darr. Had no pain with his procedure. Only took 4 tylnol in the hospital. Dr Darr explains everything and is always there for you. He treats you like a family member. Its nice to have a Dr you can communicate with.
