Dr. Veena Kalra, MD

I went Dr. Kalra when I was pregnant with my first child, I was so excited to go over my birt plan with her and we agreed that it was fine for me to do a natural birth. When i went into labor Dr. Kalra changed my birth plan and said it was because my child had a bowel movement inside of me and she was drinking her poop. Something didn't seem right? She also said I wasn't dilating fast enough, so I needed to get a C-Section. I was terrified because that was the last thing I wanted to do. I tried explaining to Dr. Kalra but she got very upset at me, telling me it would be my fault if something happens to the baby and said she was going home until I changed my mind and SHE LEFT. Lol like what? She didn't offer me options to speed up my labor like exercising....nothing. When I prayed to God and took a nap right after I woke up pushing her out. Dr. Kalra came after she was born and made a mistake, she end up telling me my daughter didn't have a bowel movement inside of me, which means they… would've cut me open FOR NO REASON. I'm pregnant now with my second and I will not be going to her EVER AGAIN. TERRIBLE!!!!!!

Being almost 68 when Dr. Kalra did a hysterectomy I certainly had fears of what might go wrong. She’s the most caring and wonderful Dr. I’ve ever known. From calling ASAP w biopsy results to actually being there waiting for me as I got off the elevator the morning of surgery and holding my hand to reassure me during pre-op that she would take care of me I was amazed at her compassion. And now one year plus post op I’m amazed at her skill because I’ve not had one complication. She’s an amazing Dr. and a woman with compassion and I’m so thankful for her. The absolute best!! Have no fears leaving your care in her hands!

very poor doctor. never never returns calls ad never made a report of my perlvic exam. all lies

Seriously the lack of care this practice exudes is nauseating. Prepare to wait for over 2 hrs for an appt. prepare to wait for those two hours only to have the receptionist tell you that you have to reschedule. Prepare for rudeness and roughness. She doesn't care if she hurts you. She has no basic concern for her patients well being. I would never ever recommend her to ANYONE

This woman is very unprofessional and dismissive. Not qualities desired in a OB?GYN health care setting, seeing to my feminine needs. Will never consult with her again. Terrible experience.

she has been my OBGYN for 5+ years now.. Sometimes hard to understand but very nice.. And the wait time can get ridiculous.. But other than that, your child(ren) is in good hands and so are you

I had an appointment this week with Dr. Kalra for my routine pap and I couldn't be happier with how comfortable she made me feel. She had great bedside manners, was thorough on explaining all my questions I had. So glad I was referred to her.

Dr. Kalra is amazing! She is a mother of two girls and can relate all my problems. I loved her and will never go anywhere else.

Tells me that she was going to call me on Wednesday, no call. After calling her receptionist Thursday saying I was expecting a call, she said she would call back in a couple of days. I waited until Tuesday of the next week before calling back and got the same run around. She said she would call back the same day, no call. I'm 22 weeks pregnant and cannot rely on someone who cannot even give me the courtesy of a phone call. Time for a different ob gyn who actually cares about her patients. This obviously isn't her.

She is very unpleasant person, doesn't care about you at all, just the kind of insurance you have. Do not go to her!!!!!!!!
