This is the only Dr I trust. If I had to have babies again, this is where I would come. She performed my Hysterectomy and I just trust her. She knows her stuff. Would not trade her for any other dr in the world. ONLY dr to touch me.

Been going here for years and have overlooked many things but now time to switch. Wait times are outrageous and some staff are not polite or professional. I don't have a major problem with the doc herself but I think she needs a new business model. I've been hearing about more and more disgruntled patients.

I like that this Dr. has been practicing for more than 20 years. She is very knowledgable and I feel safe with Dr. McDonald.

I have not been back to Dr. Velvet in over a year but I still remember how horrible the experience was. I would schedule a appointment at 8am, not be seen till after 10am only to wait another hour after entering the patient room and all I was there for was my depo birth control shots which takes all of 30secs to administer!!!! Needless to say I dumbed Dr. Velvet and went to Douglass Women Center which is absolutely 1000000x times better! It's cleaner, the decor is nicer and the wait is never long AND all their equipment and procedures are up to date. Try them!

I found Dr. McDonald professional and efficient but very busy. She doesn't have the time to spend with individual patients and as a first time mother I wanted a little more personal attention. I don't fault her for the long wait as she has no partners and must see each patient personally. The staff was always courteous and professional.

The wait in the waiting room is over 2 hours then another hour after you are put into a room. the place is outdated and dirty and the doc is aweful... she manages to leave things inside you like dead ovaries even cancer so she can go back and redo the surgery.. and good luck getting stiched up correctly.. she leaves you have open......I would never tell anyone to use her........Please find someone else.. for your own safety!

Dr. McDonald has been a wonderful and caring doctor since I first met her in the early 2000's. I appreciate her knowledge of the womans body.

I will tell you, when it come to comfort and caring, Dr. Velvet McDonald is the OB GYN specialist for me. She creates a relaxed atmosphere, and before you know it, the exam is over with. Thanks Dr. McDonaldA patient in Iraq.
