I actually saw this doctor at Kaiser Permanente in Urgent Care on 01 september 2010. I had been complaining for months at KP of 20lbs on edema, everywhere, not peeing properly, severe pain in the left kidney and bladder. I also had a chest sinus virus from 11 July. Basically KP had done nothing, they said my urine tests were all "normal". I have a nodule on my left kidney since 2008, they did not investigate that.so when I saw Dr. Kabbany I was in terrible shape, peeing less than 4oz in 2 days...he took the trouble to go back and read my previous tests, one which revealed that I had a definite UTI, and had been ignored! He is marvelous, brilliant, and thorough. Other doctors at KP could learn a lot from him in terms of being a real doctor instead of just sucking a pay check, ignoring patient symptoms and complaints. Under KP "care", other than Dr. K, I have yet to "thrive", because with a high white count for 2 years their attitude has been "yeah, you got an infection somewhere". Could not care less. Dr Kabbany is fabulous.
