Vijay is a terrific doctor who cares deeply about his patients health. He is smart, friendly, warm and engaging. However what seperates him from most every doc I have ever seen is that follow-up and care that shows he thinks about his patients well being even when you are not on the schedule. terrific all around.
He is hands down an excellent healer. Listens to history of whatever back issue is relevant, and didnt make me repeat treatment steps that didn't work prior to visiting him. He treats conservatively. It's expensive, but here you get what you pay for.
I have been seeing Dr. Vad for a number of years. His office staff is warm and friendly and treats me as a valued patient. Dr. Vad cares about me and wants to make sure that I am well and out of pain. He is the best doctor and I know that I am in the best hands (literally and figuratively) when I go to see him.
Dr. Vad is a tremendously helpful and talented doctor. He is patient and very well educated in his field. He provides step by step guidance during his visit. He takes his time to understand and to get to the ultimate solution. He tried to be minimally invasive during my visits with him. This greatly put me at ease in just knowing that I am getting a diagnosis and treatment which is best geared towards my pain. His solutions do not just involve curing the immediate issue, he creates a plan which will treat chronic and long term planning as well. He also provides a range of nutritional and exercise options which complement the more traditional approach to pain management. He took his time and explained everything in great detail to me and is always available for questions. I have been in search for some guidance for a very long time to stop my chronic pain. He have given me an holistic approach to get. Dr. Vad has made a difference in the quality of my life. I highly recommend him very much.
I have always felt surgery should be a last option. Dr Vad has in the last seven years helped me with my chronic condtion giving me hope and inspiring me to take better care of myself which resulted in more manageable pain. I would always recommend a doctor who thinks outside a surgical box first.
I have a herniated disk of the lower lumbar spine and saw Dr Vad on TV. I hoped he might be of help to me but all I got from him was to lose weight and to read his book on pain - $450 plus the cost of driving to NYC, parking, etc. He had nothing more for me than that and I am in severe pain. Would not recommend him to anyone.
Dr.Vijay Vad is one of the most qualified, experienced Specialists in his area of expertise. I have been suffering from a variety of ailments that were manifesting in my back and effecting my overall health. His holistic and broad view of the issues were truly amazing. He took the time to listen to my issues, examine thoroughly, explain the probable underlying issues which were causing my pain. I have been suffering for a long time from chronic and intermittent acute pain. With the combination of treatments ranging from medication, exercise, diet, minimally invasive procedures, I have been able to enjoy the activities I was not able to for the past few years. His office has all the neccesary technology; which allows fewer visits to imaging offices. Dr.Vad is very highly recommended.
I am not a patient nor am I seeking an appointment however, I just recently saw Dr. Vad's Chronic Back Pain special on MD Public Television. OMG, he spoke every sympton that I have been experiencing for the past 21/2 years, unbelievable. I have been told consistently that Im depressed and they were only looking at my MRI and x-rays truly not listening to me as the patient at all. Because of Dr. Vad I have a brighter outlook concerning my chronic back pain. I cannot thank you enough.Sincerely,J. MorrisBaltimore, MD
Terrible! I was sent to Dr. Vad by Dr. Positano after severe pain in my bunion for a consultation. He said he would bring in a nurse to discuss my options, but when it was too busy for his staff, he rushed in and basically forced me to immediately take an injection of hyaluronic acid to the joint. It was forced and rushed without discussing risks, just an assurance of pain relief. The immediate pain was a 10 and the swelling endured for months. The injection caused a reaction of increased bone growth and now 2 years later, I still cannot walk without debilitating pain, even in sneakers. When I called he said he would take off the charges for the series, but only removed 1/3 of the charges!! He would not even see me for a follow-up wthout a credit card charge of $450! After 2 years of pain due to his malpractice, I am thinking of calling a lawyer as my life has been so severely affected. I am a (formerly) very active 45 year old fit woman who now can barely walk due to his scam.
