I have been a patient of Dr. Angeloni's for 10 years. Dr. Angeloni is a caring doctor with exceptional skills at the diagnosis and treatment of skin ailments. Dr. Angeloni takes time to explain what the condition is, what medication you treat it with, in a caring manner. Dr. Angeloni takes time with his patients and is kind. The nurses with his clinic, Janelle and Misty are helpful and polite. Front desk receptionists Tiffany and Crystal are efficient and courteous.
More considerate derm doc in DSM

Staff can be pretty lax but Dr. A is excellent at diagnosis (experienced multiple times, including when I was in the hospital, he was the first to diagnose me when all the other doctors in the hospital were baffled as to what was wrong with me). He can be speedy during exams but of course docs are busy. :)
Funny thing is, I have a fair number of patients who see me after seeing other dermatologists who say I spend _more_ time with them than their previous doctor. I don't think people truly understand the difference in patient volume in a dermatology practice as compared to that of a Family Practice doctor or an Internal Medicine doctor. In about 3 hours, I see as many patients as your family doctor does the whole day. This is typical of most dermatology practices. Even seeing that many patients in a day, we are still booking future appointments weeks in advance. Most of the time I tend to stay pretty much on schedule, but sometimes there are patients with more complicated problems which demand more time and I can run behind. But you have my assurance that even when I am running behind, your problem will get the attention it deserves. Thank you for your kind comments...most people who post on these kind of rating websites are just ones who have a gripe!

dr. in a hurry. Apapeared more interested in rattling off fees for procedures than caring for me.
I normally don't "rattle off fees" unless it is possible that we might be doing some procedures which are not covered by insurance. I take the time to do this during the exam because I think it is important for the patient to have this information before committing to a future appointment/procedure. That gives you the information you need and the time to think about whether you would like it done. As an aside, knowing what some of these fees are is also important if you have a deductible on your insurance as it is likely you will pay a considerable amount out of pocket if you do. If you are concerned about what your potential financial liability might be in such a situation, be sure to make your physician aware. I'd suggest checking your insurance to see what your deductible is prior to your appointment.
