Unfortunately, this is a negative review although I truly wish it wasn't. I went to Iacono for a consultation back in March 2011 because of a bad breathing issue I've had since I was a baby.I had Septoplasty done April 2011 and I should have known better than to go to him after the 5 minute (yes, 5 minute) consultation he gave me, to which the second was about 30 seconds and boy was I infuriated. I told one of the main nurses/receptionist that I was not paying the $25 co-pay since the first and now second time, he's spent little to no time with me. She ended up getting loud, belligerent and very rude but she apologized after I remained calm and told her that this NO patient should ever feel like they should be researching information on their own if she or the Doctor can't find the time to explain it to them. Because my job was allowing me the time off in April and the next time I would have time to do it would have been in another year, I ultimately went w/ my first and only choice. I know waiting another year could have saved me all this trouble but you live and you learn. Now my breathing issue has migrated to the other side and I have constant nasal drip for no reason (2 yrs later!), my nostrils are now crooked and the right side of my nose just looks plain weird in pictures. If you are going to Iacono, I suggest you do your research on your own or better yet, go to another doctor who actually cares about the results you're looking for and will take the time to explain HOW and WHY he's doing the proposed recommendations. Imagine my surprise when I saw that my insurance paid him close or $9k for a mess
I had a Lazer procedure by Dr. Iacono. after a few days even the Dr. was getting very concerned by the red marks and burns around my mouth. and eyes. He fluffed me off for a few weeks. Then he admitted that something went wrong with the lazer. I was told by another Doctor that the setting was up to high. Still after 5 months I could bearly leave the house. He offeed no solution or compensation. Cleary he knows I am permantly scarred. After 20 of being a patient he cast me aside and worried about himself. IT was going to be costly to hire a lawyer and I had already spent too much money at this horrible cowardly surgeons office.. I should have never gone back after he revised my breast implants . I GOT AN INFECTION. Finally after 3 weeks of pain and ozzing. He sent out a sample and it came back MRSA. If it was caught earlier i wouldn't have had to take out the implant. I did lose half the musle and lot of tissue. He tried to surgicial correct it 3 times only to make more of a mess. He turned everything around that it was how I healed. He can be a smooth talker. I doctor should stand beside patients until mistake are resolved. Dr Iacono stands behind many patients only to screw them. (out of quality care)
Very Courteous staff.. I have been getting Botox for 7 years, and some facial fillers. After going to three other places I can honestly say, Dr Iacono, is amazing. He is very accurate with his diagonsis, his Botox is perfect! His years of experience is beyond obvious.. I would highly recommend him.. He spends the time with you, and is very affordable... great doctor....
Great doctor, great personality and great working with women. He is very charasmatic
i had a double mastectomy and five surgeries and lots of pain and suffering for 1.5 years of breast reconstruction and still not right. someone has to stop him from continuing to do this to any more patients. i now am pretty muchfixed by another dr. but think he did permament damage to my right breast and it will never be right.
i have noticed that my neck and face are falling, my neck is almost the same as it was before, i am unhappy not only because it cost my so much money, but also the time i took out of work and my face it falling and my neck is looking almost the same. no one even noticed, they didn't say i looked rested, it was like i looked the same to everyone even the staff didn't comment on my looks. i think i choose the wrong doctor. but it's too late now im out $10,000 and unhappy. the 39 years experience is for what?
breast cancer reconstructive patients do not use this doc.
I had breast implants done by Dr. Iacono. After the swelling went down I noticed one breast was falling differently. I went back at least five times and he had a different excuse every time. (not sleeping on my back, posture, weight, etc.) I went to another Dr. he confirmed that one breast implant was under the muscle and the one that was hanging had not been placed under the muscle. It cost $7000 to correct and now I look fine. I told Dr. Iacono what I did and he pretended not to hear me. I think he is losing his hearing too. I am a young women and I found it very creepy that he never had a nurse in the room. He can be a charming flirt but wait till something goes wrong with your surgery and he will turn into a defensive childlike brat. I should have read more reviews and checked with the Dept. of Health because he had been in troulbe before. maybe thats why he is not Board Certified. BEWARE
Very unprofessional not intelligent at all he messed up my breasts its true about the saying you get what you pay for it's a shame how stupid people are they go to him because he's cheap . My advice take your consultation somewhere else.
He is NOT board certified in plastic/cosmetic surgery. Do your research. He messed up my body and I look disgusting. He also severly injured a friend of mine during her operation, and she is in a big mess. I should have researched more because I am in pain every single day now and can't even look at myself in the mirror without getting horrified. He was very unprofessional & had terrible bedside manner, with no female nurse in the room.
in 2009 i had breast implants and everything was fine then i found a fold in the implant and he told me to get a mamogram on the right breast. now my right breast just falls to the side, he told me they were perfect and he wont admit that the problem is the fold in the implant. he wont fix the problem he is now telling me there will be a problem with scar tissue... i dont care about scar tissue i just want this problem fixed. i paid $6,000 and i want it fixed
Referred to Dr. Iacono from a member of the medical community who was a patient. Never heard of Dr. Iacono, had gone to several other surgeons...Dr. Iacono put me in the right direction, I had the surgery with no worry, the results are unbelieveable, 10 years removed from my 57 year old neck. He gave me more than a neck/face lift, he gave me a lift in life. This is a very Merry Christmas present to me, from me, via Dr. Iacono. He is a compassionate and caring person as well and I have heard only good reports about him from others, since my surgery.
I had a rhinoplasty with Dr. Iacono. As I begin to heal, it is clear that he did an amazing job. The photos of his work show how talented he is.
Dr. Iacono is an artist. His work is amazing and his level of experience shines through. I'm so glad he did my rhinoplasty!
I wish I never heard of this doctor. He lied to me about everything from how many sizes I would go down (with liposuction) to how long the recovery would be and how much bruising. Don't walk away... RUN!
saw the man for an orthopaedic issue.....little did i know he was a plastic surgeon as well.....now it all makes sense.
I definitely would not recommend him for any face surgery. He failed three times .He was incapable of performing a proper facelift. And had cost me time, pain, and money. A complete waste of my energy and a direct putting of my health in harms way.
