I have ONE CHILD whom I adore. My son stood in the hallway and looked withered and green and had vomited. I had never seen this so took Zack to see Dr. Maier. Dr . Maier did some tests and sent me to the ER at Mountains Hospital. Zack stayed with the Dr. then met me in the hallway. I was told to admit Zack right away. after a HORRIDLY LONG WAIT in the er for test results ( furious with the wait!!) Zack was ambulanced to a hospital in Loma Linda where a perforated appendix was removed. If he had not had surgery that night, Zack would have died. The mtn hospital's SLOWNESS was UNFORGIVABLE and INEXCUSABLE, but Dr Maier's diagnosis and warm heart and thoroughness, and the awesome surgeons at the hospital in Loma Linda (*NOT the massive white Chiildren's hospital, maybe it's a Redlands hospital??) REGARDLESS. They saved this precious teen's LIFE!! 5 stars is not adequate ENOUGH.. Re the wait and frustration at the Mountains Hospital, I give them a scowl and NEGITIVE 5 stars! >;(

Staff is rude....they won't even turn to look at you when you walk in and sign in, then when they finally open the window to greet you instead of saying hi how are you the just open the window, call your name and ask for your co-pay. You attempt to make an appointment and they figure out ways not to see you instead of how to get you in. I wonder if he knows how his staff treats patients or encourages it.

waiting room chairs are uncomfortable, and wait time is to long. once you get into the back you wait again for the doctor to come in. the doctor talks with you but once he leave the room he is done, even if you think he is coming back. not very personal at all...and doesn't conclude the conversation.
