Dr. Wayne Thomas Lindemann, MD

I was referred to Dr. Lindemann by my gynecologist due to sciatic nerve pain I had been experiencing for a while. I scheduled the appointment in hopes of finding out what was causing my severe pain. During my appointment with Dr Lindemann I noted he definitely didn’t seem to be interested in trying to help find out the source of my pain after reading on my chart I was currently out of work on an Extended Medical Leave. As I tried to explain all of the pain and issues I was dealing with, Dr. Lindemann was only focused on “Why was I still out of work after having a baby over 6 months ago?” I explained that I had an emergency C-Section at 31 weeks. During the process my nerves were severed inside and out. I also explained the issues my baby was having as well, but he couldn’t get pass me being out of work for that extended period of time. Initially, I wasn’t sure what the problem was, but after speaking to his nurse regarding the problem...I had a CLEAR SENSE OF THE REAL PROBLEM?? The… nurse told me that I should have explained to Dr. Lindemann that I wasn’t seeking Social Security Benefits that my income was coming from a Long-term Medical Insurance Policy that “ I PAID FOR MYSELF THROUGH MY JOB.” I was totally baffled, because I didn’t think that should have even mattered AT ALL??Apparently it definitely was the issue, because Dr. Lindemann did a quick Reflex test and another test using a needle to test the areas I was experiencing numbness. After conducting only those 2 test, he determined I was fine. I was undergoing Physical Therapy 3x a day @ Women and Children’s Outpatient Therapy, b/c my pelvis was slipping out of place and severe pain. I couldn’t even stand up straight. Dr. Lindemann wanted to cancel my therapy, stating he felt that apparently the physical therapy wasn’t working for me to still have to go there for so long. During my second appointment I became so frustrated that I started crying in his office trying to explain how much pain I had been in. Then he finally decided to refer me to go physical therapy using another Physical Therapist of his choice. I agreed knowing I needed the therapy, but I felt I had made significant progress with Mr Labas @ Women’s and Children’s Outpatient Therapy. THE MOST DISTURBING PART ABOUT ALL OF THIS IS DR LINDEMANN REFUSED TO LOOK AT MY PREVIOUS MEDICAL HISTORY/ RECORDS SENT BY MY OTHER DOCTORS, NOT EVEN FROM MY REFERRING DOCTOR. When I asked him why, Dr Lindemann replied...”He didn’t deem it necessary!” WOW....That explained everything I needed to know about him! Weeks later, I went to BAYLOR’S COLLEGE OF MEDICINE IN HOUSTON, TX TO GET A SECOND OPINION. TURNS OUT I HAVE SEVERE NERVE DAMAGE as a result of my nerves being severed during the birth of my baby, which was also causing other issues. IN CONCLUSION... IF YOU ARE OUT OF WORK UNLESS YOUR MONTHLY INCOME IS COMING FROM AN INSURANCE POLICY “THAT YOU PAID FOR”, THIS MIGHT NOT BE THE DOCTOR YOU WANT TO SEE????

Couldn't ask for a better Dr in his field. Took excellent care of me after a neck surgery, then 2 back surgeries. Has a monotone type voice but once past that he's the one you want.
