Dr. Wei Xu

I wish I could report something positive about my experince with Dr Xu. However, that was not the case. He did not review my written case history nor listen when I tried to provide it verbally. He was extremely insensitve and insolent. A good case history is imperative, without it, a accurate treatment plan and/or recommendation(s) cannot be made.

I went to this doctor with a diagnosis and MRI indicating bulging, herniated discs and bone spurs (my prev. doctor was not in my ins. plan). He never bothered to look at the MRI report before telling me my only problem was that I was fat and lazy and I should invest in a gym membership (Up until reinjuring my back, I had been active, working and losing weight - yes, I admit it - I'm fat). Regardless, this is no way for a professional to treat a patient. I would never go back to any Rothman institute if this is the type of doctors they have in their practice

Dr. Xu is indeed a man and is a Pain Management physician for the Rothman Institute. I think the other reviewer has this physician confused with a different person. You can find a full profile of this physician on rothamninstitute.com
