Dr. Weijia Yuan

I have been seeing Dr. Yuan for about 4 months now. I was recommended to HSS by a client who is a doctor, and I haven't looked back since. Although it's a 3-4 hour round-trip when I go in to see her, I think the trip is worth it. Dr. Yuan is professional, the facility is bright and spotless, she spends a good amount of time reviewing symptoms, conducts a thorough examination, and explains the pros and cons when deciding on medication. When you need blood work, x-rays or an MRI - it's all conveniently located downstairs and there's reduced-rate parking across the street. And once, I called late in the day on a Friday when she wasn't in because I wasn't doing well, and she called me back early on Saturday to talk and send a new prescription in. She believes in a holistic approach, including diet, lifestyle, gentle exercise-and she doesn't just push meds. I am glad that after so many years of pain and suffering, I finally found a doctor who can get me back to living my life… again.

Dr. Yuan is fantastic. Very knowledgable, caring, and compassionate. She is very patient and takes the time to listen to your needs. You will not be disappointed.

I read the reviews for Dr. Yuan. 5 minutes, 10 minutes wait, what a misleading info, not true at all. you wait at least one hour and you have 10 minutes with the doctor. Always in a rush, because too many booked appointment and not enough time. True, she wants the best for you and is kind, compassionate and knowledgeable but does not really bother to guide you in your search for the right medicine or the right thing to do for your disease, no time for that. A call back, very rarely but she will always write back if you ask her something. Just to reach someone to leave a message is not easy, only a recording where messages are ignored. I have to tell it like it is because what I read, I did not experience it at all, it's like we are talking about two different doctors. The doctor deserves 4 stars but the whole experience in that facility with the waiting time and the doctor in a rush, not more than 3 stars

I had an appointment with another place but after reading the reviews I decided I would search the web to find a doctor with good reviews. I was impressed with what I read and decided to give her a try. WOW everything in the review was on point. An excellent, well mannered doctor. Full of patience knowledgeable, caring and kindhearted. One can tell that she is not in this for the money but because she genuinely cares about people and she wants to help them to get better. I would certainly recommend her as a top Rheumatologist. she made me feel better just by talking and I haven't even received any medication as yet.

It was very easy to make an appointment and my wait time was approx. 10 minutes. Dr. Yuan has a warm bedside manner. She was attentive and listened to all my concerns. She spent a good amount of time with me. She examined me thoroughly and had ex-rays taken immediately after my appointment at her facility. At the end of my appointment she encouraged me to call her if I had any further questions. Her assistant was also very courteous. My experience was wonderful. I would rate her in all categories four (4) stars.
