 |  A darn good Doctor when you need a good one  |  show details
by Dave Johnson on Jul 10th, 2010

In the late seventies Dr baas was just about to finish his residency at the university of Louisville. At that time the old general hospital was staffed by the University of Louisville Medical Interns, and Residence Doctors, or most of it was. I was redoing an old log cabin in Bullitt County, and was trying to add some rough cut oak to a room I had added. I hit a nail it came flipping back and cut my left eye... I went to general hospital and did not know how serious it was until they asked if they could photograph it for the medical school. They call the resident on call and I am so glad I got Doctor Baas. After working trying to get it to heal it was determined he had to sew it. I was never treated better, and I see out of my left eye fine. Did he do for the money? Absolutely not I went through the clinic I think he got six dollars a visit. I was a Louisville police Officer, and would have lost my job if I lost my eye.
