Dr. William Gomez

I have been treated by Dr Gomez for almost a year now. I am happy with the treatment plan. He is very knowledgeable and the office is well managed. He takes the time to answer my questions.

I am a patient of Dr. Gomez, and I feel confident I am getting the best care , along with his Judgement on Diagnosis and Treatment of my condition.

He missed the mark and has a dismissive attitude. I went with tremendous, chronic knee pain. His diagnosis: "Age-related arthritis." Osteoarthritis? "No. Just arthritis." His cortisone injection helped for a while. I then went to Boston where an MRI was promptly ordered. Diagnosis: complex, torn, lateral meniscus (from age 12), with exposed-bone arthritis. Course of action: arthroscopic surgery. I also have Stage 4 osteoarthritis (the worst on the scale). Please get a second opinion.

I've been under his care for quite a long time. He is very friendly and accessible. Very knowledgeable, bedside manners are second to none. Beside being an all around nice guy he is very knowledgeable and very smart. He cares about his patients. He is a very energetic and positive person.

Dr Gomez has provided exceptional care for the past 18 years. As I get older he has adjusted the care to maximize my ability to stay active and continue to work full time.

Dr. Gomez is pleasant and polite. He works efficiently but welcomes questions during the physical exam and is responsive. I particularly appreciated that he explained why he was performing particular examinations and maneuvers during the examination, what his findings are and how they related to my symptoms. He reviewed the findings of my examination and radiological studies with me, explained how he arrived at the diagnosis and described the options for my treatment, including which option he recommended. He skillfully performed a therapeutic intervention (intra-articular steroid injection) in the office and explained what I could expect following the procedure. His verbal instructions and demonstrations were supplemented with written material. At the two week follow up, I had achieved almost complete resolution of pain, had increased range of motion of the affected joints and was no longer taking pain medications. I am impressed with Dr. Gomez’s bedside manner, his comprehensive… approach to diagnosis and the way he communicates his assessment and treatment plans.

Dr Gomez is at the top of his game. He is a consummate professional, knowledgeable practician, and very pleasant. He has experienced hip replacement himself, so he has an understanding of all sides. I went to him with sudden knee pain at the age of 65. He patiently explained the diagnosis of osteoarthritis and the process of treatment. He does not rush you. He respects your time, and you are always seen promptly. I have had 3 appointments and have total confidence in him.
