Dr. William Ledford Nabors, MD

I've been a patient of Dr. Nabors for the past 10 years. I found out in Oct. 2010 that I had renal cell cancer disease and the kidney would have to be removed. Dr. Nabors told me that he would take me to the operating room and from recovery but that he had an associate that could preform my surgery lapo. I see him on a regular basis as he keeps check on me post surgical. I would recommend him and have taken my son to Dr. Nabors as well as several friends. I know they will be in the best of hands.

You can get no one better than Dr. Nabors.

Dr. Nabors has treated me for both prostate cancer and bladder cancer over the past 15 years. He is without a doubt the best doctor I have ever had provide me health services. He has the most positive attitude and friendly manner. I would most hightly recommend Dr. Nabors to anyone with urology oncology problems.

Regardless of any specialty they may have this man is the BEST physician in Atlanta. He is attentive, he explains everything in an understandable, he saved me from advanced cancer and he is hysterically funny. No better bedside manner anywhere.

Billing/Office Staff ruins the experience! The initial visit with Dr Nabors went fine. However, two weeks after my appointment Brittany from his office called to say that since I did not have a referral I would be charged directly for the visit. After I informed her that I handed in a referral at the time of the appointment, she put me on hold for an extended length of time. She then came back and said that she did find the referral from my primary care physician, but the referral number that she needed to process with United Healthcare was not on there. In a very rude manner, she said that it would be my responsibility to call around and figure out what number was needed or she would send the entire bill to me. When I tried to question her on what is usually done for referrals since she has to have had several involving a large company like United Healthcare she became very irate and told me to call my primary care physician and then hung up. I called back and got the equally… as rude Elizabeth. Between the two of them I received no help with the issue.

He is not only a great Doctor; He is an outstanding person.

Experienced MD and uses good judgement on treatment options. Doesn't sell patient on unecessary procedures.

I had a kidney stone and he decided i needed lithography based upon a single xray (when I've always had an IVP with other Dr's. He actually put me under anesthesia only to discover no stone-he said I must have passed it. Really? The same calcification he thought was a stone has been on subsequent xrays. He didn't apologize and as with many Dr's, won't admit he made a mistake and just rushed to do a very expensive procedure.

Have used Dr Nabors for a number of years an he had always gone the extra mile for me. My wife uses a fellow Doctor with his group.

I could not ask for or find a better doctor, surgeon and staff. First of all, he saved my wife's life with a potentially deadly cancer and she is now 13 years cancer free with NO COMPLICATIONS subsequent from her 9 hour surgery. As for me, he has treated mine medical concerns with the utmost care. He is friendly, fun and professional - he cares about the person/patient and not just as paying customer. I would put my life in his highly successful and knowledge hands any day and would highly recommend him to my friends, family and coworkers.
