This was the worst experince EVER! I bought healthnet insurance just to come see Dr. Wang and I never got to see him thanks to his awful rude staff. Three times I was turned away. Here is a certified letter that probably never got to him I tried to send.. Dr. Wang Wellness & Care Medical, Inc. 1661 Hanover Rd Suite 201 City of Industry, CA 91748 Sally Owens 1311 Edmore Ave Rowland Heights, Ca 91748 626-363-4270 951-840-6828 Dear Dr. Wang, I have tried three times to get into your office to see you about my thyroid. I have even purchased special insurance through health net at over 250.00 a month just to come see you. Unfortunately your office staff was so rude to me each time I STILL have not gotten to see you. This reflects poorly on you as a doctor. The first time the appointments were double booked and they told me it would a 45 minute wait time even though I had an appointment. Strike 1. Strike 2. They refused to see me or call my insurance because it had a different dr. name on the card and the extremely overweight Mexican blonde with the drawn on eyebrows actually tried to refuse me by claiming my health insurance card was free government medical and not “:Real” insurance!!! I cannot believe she said that right infront of the office manager! Strike 3 was when I finally got into a room and one of your skinny nurse practitioners in her 20’s with the most horrid bags under her eyes, (probably from illegal drug use) I had ever seen, and she demanded I give her cash!!! She basically told me she wouldn’t send a bill and I could just leave : ( She was so mean and rude. Why didn’t the girls upfront ask for my co payment? Why didn’t anyone tell me this was a cash or check only operated business? I’m sorry that seems very suspicious. I have NEVER seen such horrific, unprofessional chaos in a dr. office in this day and age. I wasted 300 dollars for nothing. My thyroid is shot, I have no where to turn and I was extremely disrespected by your staff. The office manager was sitting there the whole time this was going on. Sincerely, Sally Owens
