Dr. Vendal's office staff are caring and polite; I had no trouble getting an appointment and was greeted as soon as I entered her office; She is very knowledgeable and a great surgeon; I felt at ease and felt that she answered all my questions; She made surgery pleasant, I would recommend all my friends to this office
Dr. Vendal completely lacks empathy. I have multiple vision problems which she seemed clueless about. I felt like I was getting the sales pitch for cataract surgery when suddenly she discovered I had a serious inherited eye disease. Dr. V. left the room and a nurse tested me and said it was not that bad. The next day the nurse called to say she read the results wrong, the disease was worse than she thought, and I would need to go to a cornea specialist for a cornea transplant. For bad news like that, I would have preferred to talk to the doctor ... or maybe not since she doesn't really care about her patients ...
