An asset to the medical community! MI
Love this Dr. and love his staff. I went into Dr Q's office for a 3rd opinion when a grapefruit sized mass behind my right ovary was in question. Dr. Q and his staff made me feel at home from the second I stepped into the office. He is a comfort and made me feel confidant in his capabilities as well as my pre and post care. He sat and talked with me for a while, going over every detail of his diagnosis and his treatment plan. He is a rare find as far as his and his staff's bedside manor. Kelly, Marian and the rest have genuine concern for their patience. My tumor turned out to be Stage 3 Low Malignant Probability Ovarian Cancer .During surgery(all minimally invasive Laparoscopic/Robotic) Dr. Q was already prepared with an excellent Gyn Onc, Dr. Thad Denehy on call at St. Barnubus, who assisted...Full Review

Staff needs to be friendlier
From the front desk person to nurses and associates they're kind of rude. During pregnancy, such as special time, you would think the staff would treat you with kindness, but now, they're all business and not nice. The doctors barely spend any time with you and you feel you're in a race to ask questions before they leave the room. The waiting time for a doctor is ridiculous, and at the time of giving birth you don't know who will you get because most of the on call doctors don't even work out of that office. Yes, he has been in business for a while, but this doesn't mean is a great business. I will say, they have a lab on site, so you don't have to go far to do your blood work, and the nurse practioner is very nice, but that's as far as positives go.

I am a 50 yo woman who needed a hysterectomy due to large fibroids, so my OBGYN who was not in my plan recommended I see Dr. Quartell. I was impressed with Dr.Quartell and his caring manner during my consultation with him. He is a very experienced laparoscopic surgeon. 2 weeks ago he performed a supracevical hysterectomy on me. After the surgery, I woke up with four very small incisions ranging from 1/2 inch to 1 inch on my abdomen (even though the fibroid was the size of a grapefruit) and no stitches or bandages. I had what looked like a clear glue over the incisions, which turned out to be maintenance free -- a big plus! I left the hospital the next day and was able to shower immediately. I have been a patient of Dr. Anthony Quartell since I was 14 years old,and he was just beginning his profession, I was his first patient and am very proud of that fact and that we have maintained a friendly, professional, family relationship for 38 years. I trust him with nmy life and my 4 children's lives, and can move to oshkosh and still come back to have him as my gyn. My eldest daughter now uses hin also. I feel confident and safe in his care. I also feel very blessed to have a great relationship with my former ob, now gyn. He delivered my four children and hope he will still be practicing to deliver my future grandchildren.

GREAT OBGYN EXPERIENCE - Dotti G
Dr. Quartell performed a Super Cervical Hysterectomy on me using the DaVinci Robotic Surgery method. I was quite impressed with his thoroughness in pre-op testing. He left no stone unturned. He does not like surprises and wanted to be fully prepared for whatever challenges my surgery presented to him. My hysterectomy was not going to be the standard routine. Im 56 years old and my uterus was enlarged to a 6th month pregnancy, I had a 7.0 cm fibroid cyst that was calcified (this was the major challenge) and 2 smaller 4.0 cm fibroid cysts. My ovaries were in perfect condition so I opted to keep them so I could go thru a natural menopause rather than being thrown into a surgical menopause and needing HRT.
