I walk into a CLEAN, properly climatized reception area, and am greeted by a friendly young lady behind the counter. I provided my insurance card and ID and received the forms that needed to be filled out. The forms seemed to be a little different. At other medical facilities I seem to recall filling out my same information on several different pages. Here it was barely 1 page. The nice young lady even commented that I didn't have to fill out the insurance portion as she already had my insurance card! Right! Anyways, I returned the paperwork and took a seat. A few minutes later I paid my copay and before I could get a good chunk of Facebook caught up I was called back and another very nice young lady took my vitals. She was a very timid type and very kind. We discussed what I was there for and she took some information to report to the FPN (Nurse Practitioner). A few brief moments later the Nurse Practitioner came in to deliver the verdict. She was a delightful person with a happy morning disposition. I like that. She let me know what was going on and I agreed because well, she was the professional. So I received my marching orders and proceeded to my pharmacy where they had indeed called in the order. This was rare indeed! I proceeded home to recover and all this happened in less time than it takes to even pay your copay at most other urgent facilities.
