Dr. Douglas Hanner, DC, FIANM, CST has always been interested in helping people with complex and chronic health conditions. Currently, Dr. Hanner is focused on a proven system using the latest in Neuroscience, Manual Therapy, and Mindfulness techniques to address the underlying cause of your chronic health concerns and give you a personalized path to ideal health.After becoming a chiropractic physician, he obtained a board certification in Clinical Orthopedics and a certification in Craniosacral Therapy. However, some of the patients he encountered continued to challenge his knowledge and skill. He began his studies in Functional Medicine in 2015 and has since completed his work in the ADAPT (Advanced Diagnostic and Personalized Treatment) framework. He now holds the designation of ADAPT Trained Practitioner from Kresser Institute in Functional Medicine and ancestral health. He has also completed the Trauma Institute’s 3-year program for Somatic Experiencing. He was immediately hooked and has completed Neurofeedback training at the EEG Institute.Dr. Hanner is particularly interested in how the chronic effects of Trauma and prolonged stress impact both our mental and physical well-being.
