Dr. David B Fishkin, DC

Dr. David Fishkin is a Maryland-based chiropractor and national instructor with a distinctive blend of clinical experience and public health training. A native of New York, he earned his bachelor’s degree at SUNY Stony Brook and his Doctor of Chiropractic from New York Chiropractic College, then completed a Master of Public Health at George Washington University in 2008. With more than 35 years in practice and as the founder of The Dry Needling Institute, he combines deep clinical experience with ongoing scholarship to advance comfortable, evidence-informed care for people with musculoskeletal and pain concerns.

His own lower‑back injury at age 13 inspired a lifelong focus on restoring function and whole‑body wellness. After beginning dry needling in 1998 in collaboration with anesthesiologist Dr. Adam Dorin, he researched historical and contemporary literature and developed a technical, patient-centered method now taught as the Fishkin Dry Needling Technique.
