Dr. Douglas G. Dishauzi earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Logan College of Chiropractic. He is the recipient of numerous awards and honors from Logan College of Chiropractic. He was honored to be selected as a physical diagnosis intern laboratory teaching assistant and outpatient clinician assistant for Logan College outpatient clinics.

Raised and developed into Chiropractic

You may say that chiropractic blood flows deep and runs far in his family. There is a legacy of 3 additional chiropractors in his immediate family. His brother, Dr. Jack Dishauzi practices in Pittsburgh, PA. His brother, Dr. David Dishauzi practices in Naples, FL and his sister Dr. Karen Dishauzi practices in St. Louis, MO. His siblings instilled to always make sure that his patients receive the best care possible and to treat them like he would his own family.

Using a Whole Person Approach

In his practice, he uses the whole person approach. He looks not only at subluxations, but also at anything that …causes interference to the nervous system. He practices traditional chiropractic techniques of Diversified (Hands-On) technique, as well as Activator Methods (Low force instrument assisted) technique. Additional chiropractic techniques practiced I are, Thompson Technique (Drop-Table), Flexion-Distraction with decompression component, Soft Tissue Manipulation as well as Logan Basic Technique.

Dr. Dishauzi has onsite X-ray facilities for the convenience of his patients. He also utilizes physio - therapy modalities of electrical stimulation, ultrasound, moist heat, spinal traction as when indicated to assist in the healing of a patient's condition. By using state of the art adjusting tools and hands on chiropractic techniques, coupled with physiotherapy and active rehabilitation exercises, we see patient results accelerate and maintain their journey to good health.
