More about Daniel S Hersh

Dr. Daniel S. Hersh, Founder of Scoliosis Correction Centers, was born in Brooklyn, New York. He attended public schools, graduating Andrew Jackson High School in Queens, NY, honored as one of a handful of ‘Top Scholars’ graduating number 16 in a class of 1300 students. He graduated from The City University of New York, Queens, College with honors in 1971. After living and studying French in Grenoble, France, Hebrew in Tel Aviv, Israel, and later Spanish in Panama, Central America, he enrolled in Temple University Dental School. But this was not his calling. He found an affinity for the natural arts and enrolled and graduated from New York Chiropractic College, part of the State University of New York in 1978. After practicing in Manhattan as the Chiropractic physician for the Alvin Ailey Dance Company’s ‘Dancers in Training’ he opened a private practice in Torrington, in Northwest Connecticut. After diagnosing severe scoliosis in one of his children, Dr Hersh made a solemn promise to learn and use all manner of natural healing to treat those suffering from scoliosis, a condition highly under diagnosed.

Having dealt with thousands of scoliosis-related cases, we know that the majority of people suffering from persistent back pain do not require surgical treatments. We believe in following non-surgical scoliosis correction approaches that are not physically and emotionally stressful, especially for an adolescent. Our treatment method does not require the use of braces for scoliosis correction. We recommend people to opt for early scoliosis detection and proper treatment to maximizing the probability of achieving good outcomes.

Non-Surgical Scoliosis Treatment is a health care program that provides effective non-surgical treatments for scoliosis patients. Read this case study and use the links below to compare the cost per degree between our non-bracing scoliosis correction method and other, less efficient treatments like surgery, bracing and typical chiropractic treatment.
