I have been a patient of this doctor for almost 10 years. She is very knowledgeable and intelligent, but what I like most is how I never feel rushed or that questions I ask are too basic. When I first met her, before we even started treatment, she explained to me how my insurance worked. I had no idea really. Other doctors would collect payment before I left and I was always nervous because I never knew if my bill was going to be more than I had in my purse. Once, I was really short on money because I was between jobs, but I really needed treatment and I had a deductible, but she let me pay in installments, without charging me late or interest fees. She's definitely the most fair doctor's office I've ever dealt with, and it's why I've been her patient for a long time. She's very capable in treatment and explains everything about it. I also like that I am treated like a person and not just $.

Patients beware of this unprofessional and unethical doctor trying to take your money. I saw Dr. Andrea Del Monte three times early this year for chiropractic adjustments. While my insurance requires me to meet a deductible and then cover 15 percent of my services, I have never had a doctor or hospital require payment upfront -- above and beyond a co-pay -- prior to filing claims for services with the insurance company. I had a wide variety of other doctor appointments following my visits with Dr. Del Monte, all of which filed claims immediately, as is standard practice. As my deductible had been met, and I knew Dr. Del Monte had overcharged me, I reached out to her several weeks after my last and final visit as my insurance company told me they had received no claims from her. I texted her to inquire about filing the claims and issuing a refund. She said that she files at the end of every month, was a little behind due to tax season, but would be filing within the week. I waited… another month and texted Dr. Del Monte once again, as no claims had been filed. She did not respond. I followed up a week later and again, Dr. Del Monte said she would be filing within the week. Another month has passed, I followed up again, no claims have been filed and she is unresponsive. There are so many great doctors in the area. Please do not waste your time with this one!
