Dr. Aaron Acres | Simply put, I enjoy helping others. Dentistry rewards me by providing the opportunity to help each patient achieve a beautiful, healthy smile. As a general dentist, my days are filled with helping others achieve proper oral health and working along side our fantastic team. I truly enjoy meeting new patients and having a chance to talk to our existing ones. Every dental appointment is an opportunity for us to improve our patient’s quality of life, either through a personal conversation, a simple restoration or a life-changing dental procedure. I truly love what I do and I always come to and leave work with a smile on my face.My main objective is to make each patient’s visit as easy and pleasant at possible. With our expertise, advanced technologies, experienced team members and a desire to treat our patients like family, we are able to deliver quality dental care in a relaxed and friendly setting. We love to laugh and have fun at work, yet we also take dental care …seriously and will provide all patients an opportunity to achieve proper oral health.I graduated with my Bachelor of Science from the University of Miami in 2001 and completed a post baccalaureate program in Nutrition at the University of Florida in 2003. In 2008, I earned my DMD from Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine and then completed a General Practice Residency at Faxton-St. Luke’s Hospital in Utica, NY in 2009. Since the completion of my residency, I have enjoyed working along side Dr. Reed here at the Potsdam Center for Innovative Dental Technologies. I have also continued my education by taking various continuing education courses in advanced dentistry in order to provide my patients with excellent, up-to-date dental care. Being available to my patients after hours or on weekends in the event of an emergency is an important part of my philosophy as a family dentist.I was born in Glens Falls, New York and I grew up in Stuart, Florida. My grandparents, Gerald and Jean Acres had a farm in Madrid, New York where my dad Gary and aunts Connie and Donna grew up. Family ties and summers spent in Parishville, NY as a child have brought me back to the North Country. In my free time, I enjoy camping, hiking, fishing, and watching movies with my two wonderful children.
