Dr. Alan D Hecht

I went to Dr. Hecht for a tooth extraction, bone grafting and dental implant procedure. I'm a grown woman (56) but a big baby when it comes to any dental work. He and he and his team made me feel relaxed and took the fear out of this process and procedure. It was all relatively painless. I have seen 2 dentists since my procedure and both have commented how perfect the implant and the health of tissue around the area is. A true testament of his expertise!

I've been going to Dr. Hecht for a little more then a year and it's been nothing but a nightmare. I started going to Dr. Hecht to get a few veneers done. There was nothing wrong with the veneers at first. The problem was that he filed down some of my teeth that weren't having veneers placed on them which caused there to be a gap. He then refused to correct the issues and wanted to charge me for him to correct the problem he caused. The issue is further compounded when after a few days I start to notice the teeth that had the veneers placed on them didn't look centered in my mouth. I ended up having to go to another dentist to correct the issue Dr. Hecht caused by filing down the wrong tooth. At which time the new dentist was able to confirm that indeed due to the excessive filing by Dr. Hecht my front teeth are no longer centered in my mouth. Do yourself and your teeth a favor and avoid Dr. Hecht at all costs!!!
