THE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD AT THE DENTIST. DR.ALAN FERRETTI is a nightmare dentist. My experience is actually akin to torture in no exaggerated terms. I had two wisdom taken out and this isn’t my usual dentist just one that I found while I’m in NJ and my biggest mistake coming here. He is absolutely awful and the dozens of bad reviews about him are true I don’t know how he is still practicing or has a license. The Excruciating pain that I experienced was described as “pressure” and unavoidable as he described. My thinking is that he is just awful at his job and it’s my biggest mistake not researching him before I agreed to the surgery. The experience I had is the same exact experience dozen of others horrified patients had. So the common denominator is a bad dentist and surgeon. All the awful reviews about DR. ALAN FERRETTI ARE TRUE AND YOU SHOULD AVOID IF YOUR CARE ABOUT THE WELL-BEING OF YOURSELF OR LOVED ONES. As I write this review two hours after my surgery I’m in the Emergency Room as a result of excruciating pain and discomfort. He is the the type of physician that makes people hate the dentist. You wouldn’t even give such torture to detainees in Guantonmo Bay. On top of that I waited over an hour to be seen when I arrived 10 minutes early for appointment so the office staff isnt great either. My worst mistake is coming to this Dentist ALAN FERRETTI and if you love yourself or your loved ones just stay away from this doctor and this place altogether…. To whoever reading this I can’t stress this enough please don’t go here this doctor should be arrested . Please find somewhere don’t make the same mistake I did. And whatever you do stay away from DR. ALAN FERRETTI I can’t explain in words how bad of a dentist he is TRULY HORRIBLE. PLEASE DO NOT COME HERE….RUN IN THE OTHER DIRECTION BEFORE YOUR THE NEXT VICTIM IM BEGGING YOU.

It took me over a week to write this review because I’m still trying to process the whole situation. I have been a patient at eastern dental for more than 10 years and have never had a complaint . The staff have always been respectful and professional. However last week I encountered situation with a specific oral surgeon that has left me in disbelief . His name is ALAN FERRETTI. Please do NOT use this doctor for any reason. I was there for a tooth extraction and he was bluntly rude and unprofessional. He walked into my room didn’t really explain the process, began to numb the tooth left me there for way over 30 minutes while he was at his computer. Then walked in shoved a tool in my mouth without even checking if I was numb. He began to pull and I let out a huge scream because I was in pain and could feel what he was doing. He quickly became the victim in this situation saying he couldn’t work under such circumstances. He yelled at me and said I should have raised my hand or something but not yelled. I said sir when you pulled I can feel it’s extremely painful. He disregarded my pleaded and said , what are we going to do here. He was having a tantrum and I was the one in pain. I said you will not work on me and please get me a general dentist and your manager. He stormed off and under his breath said you will not get an oral surgeon. The lack of professionalism and the aggression that he displayed was unbelievable and unacceptable. He definitely should not be practicing and after reading some reviews on here I know that his name is ALAN FERRETTI. The assistant was kind and said I will get you the a staff member to help you. I had to go home in pain and come back two days later to do it again. I was left in disbelief and traumatized from this experience. Going to the dentist is nerve wracking and to have an dentist treat you like an animal is unacceptable. I sat in my car for over 30 minutes trying to process this situation. The director Dr. Grober from the office took care of me (looked at tooth)and referred me this amazing dentist by the name of DR ROW. I had to re visit the dentist two days later to extract the tooth. I was extremely nervous coming into the office. He and the assistant were outstanding I didn’t feel him pulling my tooth. He had patience and was extremely caring while explaining every step of the process. This experience was outstanding and painless as it should be. No one should have be subjected to such cruelty. I wish I could rate these two situations differently. I give the office a high review just avoid ALAN FERITTI at all cost.

I hate to even give 1 star because he deserves 0. This was the worst experience of my life. Whenever people say they hate going to the dentist I never understood it because I never had a bad experience until 3 weeks ago. I had an impacted wisdom tooth and was already nervous but when he walked in the room he didn’t even introduce himself, just looked at my X-rays and said they look like a 19 year olds and asked how old I was (I’m 30). He gave me 2 shots of numbing and I asked if that would be the worst part and he said yes. He proceeded to work in my mouth and I was feeling pressure but knew that was normal, then all of a sudden I was in immense pain and felt my hand reach to move his hand as a reflex. He kept saying it’s just pressure and I said “no it’s not, I know the difference”. He continued to hold my jaw in place as he tried to pull the tooth from my mouth, he did this 5 times. My body was lifting out of the chair and I was cursing and screaming in pain and even starting to cry just because the pain was unbearable. I am 30 years old and I have never cried out of pain that a dentist or doctor was inflicting. The then said “it’s not coming out, I’m going to have to cut bone”. I knew it was only going to get worse and it did. I guess he finally believed me and realized I was serious and gave me another shot but my lip went numb and the pain did not stop, he obviously didn’t give the shot in the right area. He eventually got the tooth out and stitched me up. He didn’t mention I needed to come for a follow up, if the stitches would dissolve or any after care instructions. There were still tears running down my face, I was still in severe pain and he didn’t offer medication or prescription for the pain. He didn’t even say anything before leaving the room and not coming back. I drove myself home still crying and in excruciating pain only to find that my face is extremely swollen. It has been 3 weeks since the surgery of 1 wisdom tooth...It stayed swollen for 2+ weeks, my entire right side of my mouth and neck was black, blue and green for 2+ weeks, I am still not able to fully open my jaw, I have residual pain and my bottom right teeth all have a very weird feeling to them and it’s not normal. STAY AWAY FROM HIM, HIS LICENSE NEEDS TO BE TAKEN AWAY.

Felt extreme pain through the entire procedure because he did not numb me correctly. I screamed of pain and he had the nerve to tell me not to scream again it won’t solve anything. I would have not screamed if he numbed me correctly. He was very rude through the entire procedure like he didn’t care for the well being of his patients. I was not given instruction beside a piece of paper. After the procedure he didn’t say a word and I just left. I will make sure to let everyone I know about him, I’m upset I’m given him 1 star cause he deserves none. I will never return to that office again, it’s a shame because the staff was great.
