Dr. Armando Aguilera JR., DDS

Dr Aquilera did a great job of removing two diseased teeth with no pain to me during or after surgery. He use local instead of sedation because my dental insurance would not cover sedation. The sedation would have cost me $516 out of pocket while the teeth extractions were only $216 which worked well for me. I trust Dr Aquilera if I need his services again.

If I could give Dr. Aguilera ten stars, I would! I cannot recommend him highly enough. I needed to have an emergency procedure done and on the referral from my dentist, I was worked in that same morning. He is obviously very caring about his patients and his staff is the same. They put at ease immediately and everything was thoroughly explained to me before the procedure. I appreciate everything that was done for my comfort. For anyone looking for an oral surgeon, look no further!

We made the drive from KY to see Dr. Aguilera... well worth the journey. My 11 year daughter had to have two teeth pulled and the process couldn't have gone smoother. Dr. Aguilera and his staff put my daughter at ease, explained everything that was going to happen and answered all her questions, and mine. We'll definitely drive south again when her wisdom teeth are ready. Thank you, Dr. Aguilera and ladies... you were awesome!!!

I had a root canal infection that potentially would require the removal of my front tooth, #8, if the infection could not be contained and extracted. I had an initial consultation with Dr. Aguilera and he gave me my options along with the potential risks associated with each choice. I elected to have the area above my root canal cleaned and remove all infected tissue. Dr. Aguilera's advice and expertise was precise. We scheduled and performed the surgery. My gum has healed perfectly!!!

Dr. Aguilera did what my wife and i could not - put our young daughter at ease about her tooth extraction process. He and his staff made the whole visit and follow up just a wonderful experience - we highly recommend him.

I highly recommend Dr Aguilera. His skill as a surgeon is top notch as well as being attentive to the needs of patient. His staff is very professional and welcoming.. I felt very well taken care of. His surgery is very modern and clean which gave me a high level of comfort. My experience was very positive.

Excellent Surgeon, Excellent Team! Incredibly compassionate and skilled. My son had an injury to his mouth over the weekend and was treated by Dr. Aguilera on a moment's notice. He reconstructed his fractured jaw and saved several teeth. All of this was done with extreme compassion as he is a father of three boys himself. His expertise, knowledge is unmatched. We are lucky to have him here in middle TN! Go see him if you have any issues!!!!

I highly recommend Dr. Aguilera and his skilled staff for any oral surgery you may need. He extracted my oldest son's wisdom teeth 3 years ago and it was so easy and seamless that when my youngest began feeling pain due to his impacted wisdom teeth, I immediately made an appointment with Dr. Aguilera. One of his upper teeth was tangled up in his sinuses and was a little more difficult to extract and Dr. Aguilera prepared us for any complications that might arise from this. However, it was done with such skill that he never had any sinus complications afterward. My son was one week post-op on Tuesday and it could not have gone more smoothly. He is back to eating regular food and other than a small bit of residual soreness of the surrounding teeth when he chews certain foods, he is completely pain free.Their office and staff is quick and efficient but so very personable and so good to call and check on their patients after the surgery. Would not think of going anywhere else!

I was referred to Dr. Aguilera by my dentist for a molar extraction. At the time the appointment was made, their office was aware that I did NOT want to be sedated for the tooth extraction. When I arrived for the appointment, I was told it was a consultation. I met the doctor and he looked at the X-ray and said he would not extract the tooth without putting me out. This was really annoying, since they had the x-ray for two weeks. They could’ve called and let me know that they could not accommodate my request. As it turns out, Dr. Aguilera said he puts EVERYONE out. When I informed him that I did not want to be sedated, he became nasty and argumentative. He said it would be extremely painful. I told him I don’t take any pills, etc and he said “Well, you’ll need to take the pain pills I prescribe and antibiotics”. I left his office upset after a 5 minute consultation and was surprised when my insurance ended up being charged and I paid $77 out of pocket for wasting my time. I ultimately… got my molar extracted by Dr. Joe Doctora in Smyrna. He is wonderful and totally understood my desire not to be sedated. 2 numbing shots in the gums from Dr. Doctora and a 5 minute painless extraction. Yes, painless. That was 4 days ago and I didn’t even need to take so much as an aspirin. Plus, I’m taking oregano oil in place of the antibiotics. If you need an oral surgeon, make a great decision and choose Dr. Joe Doctora! His office staff is great, the assistants are caring and Dr. Doctora is fantastic!!
