Dr. Brent Dee Bankhead

Brent Bankhead, DDS, MS
Dr. Bankhead was born and raised in St. Louis, MO. He received his Bachelors of Science from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Iowa where he received the Dow Research award for three straight years. Dr. Bankhead completed his orthodontic training at Saint Louis University, where he received his Masters of Science in Dentistry. He is a frequent lecturer on Invisalign, and has been recognized as one of top Invisalign providers in the world. Dr. Bankhead’s practice is in the top 1% as Elite providers of Invisalign. He is on a panel of 8 for SureSmile lingual arch treatment.
Dr. Bankhead began working for his father’s practice, Bankhead Orthodontics, while still in school. After completing his Masters in 1998, he joined his father and became a partner in Bankhead Orthodontics.
Dr. Bankhead is a frequent lecturer, speaking at events as large as Invisalign and SureSmile National …conventions to individual dental office Lunch & Learns. Some of his most recent topics were “Recession Proofing Your Practice”, “Surviving the Turbulent Times”, Strategies for Succeeding in the Current Economic Climate”, “SureSmile Technology & Orthodontic Treatment”, and “The New Age of Invisalign”.
Dr. Bankhead and his wife, Laurice, have three boys, Christian, Spencer and Samuel. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his family, participating in church activities, and being a leader with the Boy Scouts of America. Dr. Bankhead and his family enjoy many activities together including skiing, horseback riding, martial arts, running and biking.
