Dr. Brian Trava - Endodontist in Hawthorne, NJ
Dr. Trava was born and raised locally, graduating from Lycoming College
in 1984, and graduated dental school from the University of Medicine and
Dentistry of New Jersey, (UMDNJ), in 1988. He was accepted and finished
his two year post-graduate work in Endodontics from UMDNJ, 1990. Dr.
Trava started the Hawthorne, NJ endodontics practice in 1990 and the Ho
Ho Kus practice in 1993. He was an assistant clinical professor at UMDNJ
teaching Post Graduate Endodontics from 1993- 2000. In his spare time
he volunteers at Evaâ€™s Village doing dental work and belongs to Rotary
International, Columbians, and Chamber of Commerce.

Dr. Trava is very good in what he does. I was in total pain with my tooth and he took me as an emergency. He explains everything is gentle, and makes your worries go away. Staff is nice too which is a big part in feeling that your at the right place.

Dr. Trava is one in 1 million. I’ve had plenty of root canals and would dread them as so painful. With Dr. Trava I was amazed that There was NO PAIN AT ALL! I wasnt even sore this was easier than getting a cavity filled! His fun-loving special demeanor was unlike any experience I ever had. He truly cares and between his skill, competence and personality I am so thrilled that I found him and I highly recommend him to everyone I know. Dr. Trava is the REAL DEAL, simply the BEST!

I've had a few root canals, all of them with Dr. Trava. Because I was in such pain, I expected the extraction would be unbearable. While I can't say I didn't feel it, it was bearable. Dr. Trava kept checking with me to be sure I was ok. This is a doctor who cares deeply about his patients.

Dr. Trava has done several successful root canals for me on teeth that other dentists felt might not be able to be saved. He devotes extra sessions for dental surgery when necessary and follows up to confirm that good healing has occurred. For me, Dr. Trava has relieved long-term pain I had suffered. I would highly recommend him for his skill, dedication to his profession and wonderful personality.
