Dr. Corey C Burgoyne, DMD

Dr. Corey Burgoyne comes from Tennessee and South Carolina. She graduated from University of Tennessee in 2000 with a BS in Biology and earned her DMD degree from The Medical University of South Carolina in 2004. In June 2008, Dr. Burgoyne received her Oral & Maxillofacial certification from Virginia Commonwealth University and joined COFS in July 2008. Dr. Burgoyne is a member of numerous professional organizations including the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons. Leadership Dr. Burgoyne is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, School of Dentistry, at Virginia Commonwealth University.  She is also a member of numerous professional organizations including the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Academy of Dental Anesthesiology, and the American Academy of Implantology. Virginia State Board of Dentistry Dr. Burgoyne is registered and licensed to practice as an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. …Community/Volunteer Dr. Burgoyne has a passion for service. She travels regularly to provide surgical care to the Dominican Republic, Haiti, Honduras, and the Mission of Mercy projects throughout Virginia. On a personal Note: Dr. Burgoyne is an avid triathlete with a longstanding background in swimming and running.  She is an enthusiastic gardener and enjoys being involved in local farming.  She spends free time enjoying the city, visiting her adorable niece, and training her yellow lab Lily.
